Oh don't know if this was mentioned yet, if so I missed it, but didn't anybody in The Avengers notice the attack move from Marvel: Ultimate Alliance between Iron Man and Cap with cap deflecting IM's beams from his shield to the bad guys? Thought that was a pretty cool call back.
Yeah, but to both have the same idea at the same time without discussing it? If Cap doesn't know it's coming, Stark just shoots him in the chest and he's down.
That was one of my favorite scenes. The whole thing. "No, you shouldn't have... he really likes his hammer" "YOU WISH FOR ME TO PUT MY HAMMER DOWN!?!?"

As well you shouldn't. I hate bad puns and can spot one from a mile (and then follow up with an epic eye roll and a Patrick Stewart facepalm). That was not a bad pun.
