A standard first season is 13 episodes, and if it does very well during those episodes it gets picked up for what's called "The back 9" to extend it to a full 22. GCB lasted 10 episodes.
Well, House, Eureka, Finder, Cash Cab, and a couple dozen other shows may be getting cancelled, but looks like Comic Book Guys will be coming back. So that's cool.And Syfy says they've got 28 new shows in the pipeline. A lot of them seem to be reality shows, though. So *shrug* I stopped trusting their decisions about the time they changed their name.
