Just saw Rises. Perfect ending, actually like it better than Dark Knight but then again i love the beginning and end of sagas the best. It probably will outperform Dark Knight if WB keeps it out a little longer than planned. Just hope it somehow makes more than Avengers.............
I believe it was the better film. I liked Avengers a lot but if it clearly outperforms Rises... .nothing will stop a soul less JLA movie. Another batman reboot is inevitable but needs time to breathe, another decade maybe
I'm talking world championships. The 2011 Swimming World Championship was held in Shanghai and had Phelps, Lochte, Soni, Franklin and Volmer among the winners. Not sure what they made off their wins, having triple with the phone. Anyway, I'm sure it's more than the Olympics.
I bet. Working overnights in a store is god awful as it is, but the pay is just as bad as working in the days. And I work at Whole Foods, which pays better then Wal Mart, and it's still just not worth it... I'm sorry, your post reminded me how much I fucking hate the shift they've got me on, which happens to be over nights. I just woke up 45 minutes ago because of it. When I wake up this late in the day I feel like a really lazy person or Foolsfolly.
Btw, it was great that they finally had a live action catwoman that was like the comics, no supernatural mumbo jumbo or overly psychotic there. Hathaway played it exactly as i imagined catwoman should be. They even hah Holly in it.
Honestly, the only cool thing about that is that I can listen to music and get a ton of work done. They've had me do the frozen buying and I get so much work done working overnight that no one else works with the frozen products but me. It's kind of cool to know that for the last month or so I'm solely responsible for the money made by the frozen section.
I have to agree that Hathaway's catwoman is a lot better than Michelle Pfeifer's Catwoman. I never thought of Catwoman as a delusional, psycotic character, and that always threw me off whenever I'd watch that movie. I was extremely happy with how Catwoman turned out in Arkham City, because that was ideally what I thought of her as. More of a reasonable, heroic character with her own agenda. I'm glad that she (Dark Knight Rises' Catwoman) turned out to be similar to the videogame heroine.
I am curious, though, about the Marvel-based series for ABC. Is this that same average people in the Marvel movie-verse show we were hearing about? Because I had some serious doubts, but with Joss behind it, I would give it the benefit of the doubt. They must be damn confident if they're gonna put it on ABC, though. I would have expected them to go with one of their cable networks, like ABC Family or something.
