Ok so this is a thread for anyone who is interested in Animation (at any level) to post you're work here whether it be :
1.Claymation 2.Stop Motion 3.cell animation 4.Flash 5.3D modelling/animation 6.Storyboarding 7.Character concepts/model sheets 8. Or other animation programmes such as animated GIFS, photoshop animations etc
It is likely that alot of links will be posted of your movies etc but it would be nice to see a still frame preview in you're post. I have just completed my FdA Animation degree and continuing to do my BA Hons degree and hope to see ppl help each other out with programme difficulties, tips, tutorials etc.

-ditto, I'm doing the same course as Trickstar, we'll no doubt post our different peices of work in time
k, i'll kick start with the first ever Cell animation(traditional) I ever did. This was also made by Steve88 and others in our first week of college almost 2 yrs ago now. we drew it on A4 paper,24fps (thats alot of paper!) click image
I did a couple of bits of animation for uni, some in Cimea 4D, some in Flash. Got the files here somewhere but they're huge so I haven't had time to upload them to youtube or anything.
im trying to animate a claymation video, and im using adobe premiair for it for the first time, does anyone know how to select the time duration and framrate for multiable pics?
well i usually use a free programme called monkeyjam for stopmotion but if you mean setting the duration time fo each image is played for? In premier Before you import your images go to Edit-Preferences-General then set still image duration (like 1 or something) then import images.
alright, I was going to post in the other thread but here goes. I'm finally doing my first serious animation project for my portfolio
The premise is a group of Mercenaries from the ARC Angel (Armed Response Company) organization are on their way back from a mission in Israel. On their way over Jerusalem (where street to street fighting is happening), a guided missile system takes down both of their two V22 Osprey transports.
The two birds crash in different locations, and the story follows one group of survivors as they make their way through the back streets of Jerusalem and crowded markets to find the other survivors, as Palestinian freedom fighters pop out of every nook and cranny.
Eventually the ARC Angel mercenaries meet up with their comrades and a group of Israeli special forces and the prey become predators as the joint force comes together to find and destroy the Palestinian guided missiles.
This is a big endeavor for me, and probably the biggest animation I've ever tried, but I believe that with enough self-motivation I can do it.
I'm doing this piece by piece and I'll be putting my various models for sale on turbosquid for others to use and enjoy (and to give me payoff for my time working.)
I'm starting with the V22 Osprey Tiltrotor aircraft. Its very early in the process and I've only been working two evenings on this:
Obviously Its very early, but I'm always open to constructive criticism, since I want this to look good. I'll keep posting updates as the project comes along.
nice man, sounds awesome, hope it works out well, sounds very black halk downish, but thats ok, hopefully you dont go too hevily into it politcaly thou and just end up with a fun story and situation, i mean, it could be argued that the freedom fighters where warrented in attacking the invading troops, even if they where just passing throu, but this is the wrong forum for that, nice idea, 1+
in reply to urbanLT #8 i think that's going to be great when you've finished, I think that it's great that your going into depth with your research and turbosquid is a good idea aswell. What 3D programme are you using ?I'm only familiar with 3D studio max. looking forward to seeing more
And dont worry about politics. Although I could go into a thesis about Israel and Palestine, I know better than to drag world politics into a perfectly good animation. The only thing the viewers know is the ARC Angel Mercenaries are the protagonists and the PLO and Syrians are antagonists. Note, I said antagonists, not "bad guys".
project from college made 2 months ago called 'space pirates' made with steve88 my space pirate captain which I didn't have time to do anything with in the actual animation apart from his crazy crazy walk space ship created by me. theres also some good renders of steve's planet and sun if he'd post em
I forgot to watch this thread, some really good work people have made seems to be filling this thread, good really ace work peoples, here are a few snip its of some of my "best" shit work... lol Video coming soon (it's uploading at the moment) and of course the legendary, "snails on a plate"
www.aniboom.com is a very good site to join if your into animation. the snails on the plate there that we made has over 30,600 hits ^_^ and on the front page spacepirates is in the latest hits
I just went on a modding spree in here, modded every comment (took a little time of course due to the "amazing new feature", Flood Control, when of course I try to mod everyone... but everyone who is creative and is into the whole Animation scene deserves some moddiesh!
