Rather than posting individual threads for each celebrity or well known individual that takes a dirt nap; perhaps we might just combine all the posts within a single thread and those who feel the need can supply a brief eulogy {A statement of High Praise} for the individual.
Regarding our recent loss, George Carlin, he was a man of an age when the love was free (relatively) and the dope was good. He will live in the memories of many a baby boomer for his views on this experience we call life.
Although this is a very nice gesture, the problem with this will be the long period of time between each passing of someone well known. This causes an issue with the thread to be inactive and get buried. Seeing as how several fail to use the search function, I'm sorry to say that this thread isn't a good idea.
If a mod decides to keep it going, I hope people start learning to use the search function.
