So, what do you guys think about this new MMORPG game DC Universe Online that coming out for both the PC & PS3? I for one think it's going to be a cool game, but for some reason, I just can't stop thinking that it's just a DC Comics version of City of Heroes.
Looks adequate so far. It'll be a better version of City of Heroes no doubt, but you got SOE working on this project ... thats the major concern. The same folks who royally threw away Star Wars: Galaxies.
However the main selling point is that they got artist Jim Lee working on the characters ... but thats it ... time shall tell
Yah I played COH and I don't know how DC Universe online is going to be any different. It could technically be possible to make it different by giving the game feel like a constant instance with things going down all the time to everybody and not just when missions happen and I'm not talking about COHs bad guys running around and mugging people I mean full scale bank robberies or gang shoot outs etc etc
Looks cool the only problems with MMO's is that they take so long to play and get into you don't feel like moveing over like say for example WOW your level 70 took you forever yournot just gonna quit! Well I did at Level 33 but anyways hope this doesn't get overshaowed by WOW

i tried nearly every MMO type of game except world of warcraft (i'm straight lol).
i tried this game as a last try, its dissapointing.
the movement powers are uneven except flight, super speed has a slow start yet still has the blur lines and able to run on the wall, i mean thats stupid although it is a minor complaint. the acrobatics is apparently faster then super speed? (WTF... :S) also it can run on water... thats stupid.
all the movement powers slow down if hit... what if you need to escape? you cant and im pretty sure the heroes like flash and superman didnt slow down when hit or had a slow start... im on abit of a rant i know.
the combat is fun and pretty good, i did love the fighting but being a MMO i got bored and i keep forgeting to unsubscribe, oh im stupid... or... just helping out with giving them charity lol
