RACS Vs FTBB: The Cliche Chronicles is a new series collaberation by some of the regulars in the Filmmaking and Machinima Forum. It is a parody series about all the cliche and bad rip offs of RvB and other popular machinima series. We will be touching most of the popular series and possibly venture further.
More trailers will be released soon, and the first episode will be released most likely in the first week or so of October. While we will try to get the episodes out to the public quickly, don't believe things will be rushed. We plan on having a high amount of production quality, and we hope for this to be a fun and exciting series for all machinima watchers to enjoy.
Who doesn't dig a parody? However - I hope that the voices (the person who does the "Noooooo!") are actually more serious than how that sounded. :-) Because that voice was like nails on a chalk board - and while I get the idea of mocking/parody people - it can be done and still sound normal. (And that's usually when it's the best - when a parody is clearly a parody - but comes off like it's taking itself seriously - like Space Balls for example!) So I am down to watch this - if at least the voices actually sound serious. :-)
Yeah I was attempting to make his voice sound similar to the bothersome parody characters in Digitalph33r's videos. It was a bit of a hidden parody that didn't work out exactly how I liked, lol.
He was always very supportive of SvF... Hell he was supportive of pretty much anything of potential back in the day =P
As for the trailer, camerawork was decent, voiced needed work and you need to do something with your puppets... The whole ship was apparently shaking and all I could think about was "Gee that Spartan is standing awfully still...."

I guess the puppets could've used work, but I usually like the voices to be more exaggerated than just saying the lines. And Apocalypse said MY voice was bad?!
- I love parody! Neverending Nights is nothing but a huge parody! The first season? Go slay a dragon. The second season? Rescue a damsel in distress? The third season? Well, it has to do with putting an artifact back together. So we enjoy making fun of all the "overly used/cliche" type "adventures" that you find in fantasy - and we usually do it with a twist. :-)
So I think doing the voices - if you're going to "go over the top" - I would just do your normal voice - and use an audio program to edit the voice (like bump the pitch up so it sounds exaggerated that way - but still somewhat natural). And ironically - the whole "metric ton armor" would have actually been FUNNY to say during the trailer. With the ship violently shaking around - someone casually saying, "Well, thank God this metric ton armor keeping us stable while the ship goes to HELL!"
I like you. And that's a good thing to remember. I'm assuming most of the creator's have read all the Halo Books. they've got a lot of back story and stuff like that. We should be looking for the things we know about the game world and make jokes about that stuff too. It's there, why not use it, plus it gives it more... I dunno, back round. Like since Go_Nuts put in the Archive of Machinima thing the characters happen upon it but it's all damaged so they decide to remake it all.
I think we need a list of the participants of RACS vs FTBB: Chapel: stupidsmart Colonel: kaisonic Engine: Parodysinc Phillip: andythebomb9 Simon: Go_Nuts Tuck: HustonTexas (From THM, not on RvB) Mike: GMFRK_00 Enrique: Warfighter Agent Canada: DP175 Ashley: Available (unsure, we have two hopefuls) Aliens: Various

That's a great idea... I need to tap into the more witty side of me.
Wait a whole load of damaged movies that they decide to remake themselves? I don't suppose there's a video store that needs to be saved from the enroachment of franchised entertainment is there?
