and a couple days ago i got a blue screen that ended with "Begining physical dump of memory, if this is the first time this has happened to your computer who gives a shit and restart your computer"
then i manually turned off my comp.
it's been 3 days now and 13 crashes later.
every crashes my computer goes blue screen and then black and restarts so quickly i can't read the blue screen.
My CPU is running at a 52 C and my video card at a 50C. And my power supply is 600W while the video card requires 450W
but my comp usually crashes after 1 hour of being on.
To get info on the blue screen, go right click on "My Computer", select "Properites", click the "Advanced" tab, look for "Startup and Recovery" and click "Settings". Then make sure "Automatically Restart" is unchecked.
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x89b7f000, 0x89b7f1a0, 0x0a3402c0). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini100608-03.dmp.
this occured everytime roughly 10-15 seconds before dump
The system detected that network adapter NVIDIA...Controller - Packet Scheduler Miniport was connected to the network, and has initiated normal operation over the network adapter.
The bad_pool_header bsod can be a pain to track down. It can be caused by bad ram, bad drivers, or any number of failed components. My first step would be to get the absolute latest Nvidia drivers for that card. It's the quickest fix to try. If you have windows XP, this should be the 178.13 xp 32 bit driver. If you are in Vista, this should be the same driver for 32 bit vista (If you have some other OS, say something, it is one of those important bits to include).
Now, if putting the new driver on doesn't fix this, my first impulse would be to get back to a state where it wasn't crashing. Remove the video card you added (put the old one back in if there was one). See if you can get the thing to crash without the component that changed. If you can't crash you can probably rule out damaging something while you were in the case. For all we know, while you were in there, a wire got pushed into the cpu or chipset fan and something is overheating.
If you get this far, your state will be "still bluescreening with latest drivers, no bluescreens with new card removed", next try testing your ram since it's a common culrpit in bad_pool bsod's. memtest86 has some free downloads you can burn to a bootable floppy or make a bootable cd with that'll let you give your ram a full test to see if the problem might be there.
When you respond next, include your OS and any new bsod's you've written down since making the change Fhajad requested in #5.
