In the spirit of trying to be more involved with the community, I have started new characters on Shadowlands. Are there any more RT guilds on both factions available to join? If so, how do I get in contact? I appreciate your time and am looking forward to meeting any of you online.
Hey guys, not to seem like a cheap prick or anything, but could anyone of you please send a friend invite for SWTOR to me? I'm seriously considering starting to play, but I'm not sure if my computer can handle it. So I'd like to try it out before I buy it. The minimal/recommended system requirements doesn't really do it for me... So, if anyone of you guys have one to spare.. much appreciated :) thanks
I have been very AFK for the past months (computer issues) so I fully expect that my Drunk Tank character to have been kicked from the Drunk Tanks, I am kinda torn, I would like to level my Trooper, who is in the Drunk Alluance, but I want to play my Bounty Hunter who is a former Drunk Tank. Any advice?
I would do that except I dropped my laptop off at Staples so the can delete and anything I missed and guve it a tune up.They said it should be ready in a week. I am writing this off of my iPad. But enough of my bitching, any news on Guild Ships?
UI customization is great. I didn't change a whole lot, but I moved my bars around and resized some stuff.
I am disappointed with the Legacy system for one reason: at the Guild Summit, they made it seem as if you could get Legacy stuff either by having a certain Legacy level, or by buying it from a vendor on the fleet. It seems they combined the two, so you have to have the Legacy level and spend tons of credits.
Ok, I see what I did. I was talking about the Legacy UI customization. I spent about 10 seconds reading my own post and saying, "Why did I even write this...I'm not a huge fan of the Legacy system yet??!!" And I thought my handwriting was bad.
exactly! i figured my legacy would be high enough to where i could have a few unlocks and be happy with it. here the only things i actually unlocked was the useless pvp moves for valor and the ability to pay millions of credits to actually unlock something. i wouldn't be so annoyed if it wasn't so expensive to unlock things you've reached the legacy level for. I feel there should at least be a discount if you've reached the legacy level.
on the plus side, i am happy with the UI customization, thuogh i'm still trying to find a good spot for my quickbars
Yeah.,.the UI is great, I like that the customs you save can be loaded on all your alts. They could include a higher bit of credit income, since most 50s spend their dailies on repair bills from HMs and Ops (at least all the ones I know do). I need 5 million credits EASY for less than half of the legacy stuff.
Have a Drunk Tank guild question. I'm on Sith Wyrm...and thinking about making an alt to play to run with you guys. Do you have guild alliances, or do you have to join the guild to get invited to the operations? Unfortunately for SWTOR, it seems to lack the community building capability that SWG had, and we're having a hard time 'making friends' in the game. a friend that I met in SWG actually was a groomsman in my wedding...he drove all the way to Arkansas from Florida to be there. I can't say that I've had that sort of community building in SWTOR.
You do not have to be in their guild to run in an operation with them, my allied guild pinches me in for a healer when their's can't make it.
SWG was a more community-based MMO, SWTOR is closer to WoW than SWG. I know it's not fair to compare the them like that, having played all 3 I know the games are distinct from each other, but it's for simplicity's sake that I make the comparison.
I'm sorry you're having a harder time making friends in this game, but that's just your personal experience.
Could anyone send me a friend invite? I'd like to try the game out, but I'd hate to drop $40 on it and learn I hate it. Everyone says it's pretty good, so I'd like to see for myself.
