MW2 had that problem with the text across the entire screen for a while. After the updates though, I haven't seen any modders or hackers. It really has made it a better experience. Now, if only there was something for those rapid fire controllers.....
And as for the modded controllers, while they are annoying, I say the tools should learn to get good trigger fingers. I get accused of having a modded controller all the time in Call of Duty and even Gears of War because of how quickly I can shoot semi-auto. And it's often as fast or faster than people with modded controllers.
You can usually tell the difference between a fast trigger finger and a rapid fire controller. When someone empties an entire mag with perfectly spaced firing in about a second... it is pretty obvious. I've got some friends with some dang fast trigger fingers, and when you see it a lot, you start to recognize the skill, or the cheats.

I can do anything from a double to maybe a 6 shot now, no problem at all. Can you do a full 20 mag most of the time, or have you even tried, or what?
I've emptied my 200-round hoppers on my markers before. On my X7 I can do it at about ten or eleven balls per second, on my Vice because it's a more sensitive double-trigger I can walk it at about eighteen balls per second. So twenty shots on the Xbox controller with at least six shots per second is pretty easy.
Played about a month ago a few days in a row and only ran into one lobby that was hacked. The only thing I noticed was that you could sprint insanely fast. Other than that, nothing illegal.
Yeah hey so...I'm the guy who is still trying to finish some spec ops in this game (I didn't have an Xbox until a year or so after this game came out, and I didn't even have Live until February 2011...so yeah...), so although I'm sure this thread is dead when it comes to this kind of things, but if anyone wants to just help me 3 star the co-op missions...well that would be super (no one I know wants to help). I would also like help on the stealthy missions and such, but I mostly would like help with the ones I literally can't play alone.
Yeah, the thread is probably close to dead; although MW2 is my favorite Call of Duty. If you can't find anyone else, let me know, and I'll do what I can for you. I kind of want to leave the door open a little bit for better players to jump in and help. If not, we'll group up and get things done. The earliest I could start would be Monday evening/night. (Currently out of town, and wasn't able to pack the Xbox with me.)

It's just more of the same, if you ask me...but that's not necessarily a bad thing in itself. Also, I don't know if there's anything (other than the horde mode) that really makes this a bigger or better game than the previous, but honestly there wasn't anything wrong with the game...so that's good in itself to me lol
