After the first week the standings are as such (assuming Alpha Company's matches are forfeits and not just disputed games)
1. Anonymous 2-0 2. Zoo Monkies 1-0 (likely 2-0 after a forfeit) 3. The Purple Cobras 1-1 4. Alpha Company 0-0 (likely two forfeits) 5. Panda Monium 0-1 6. Backside George reverser's 0-2
So that would (Using a scoring system that counts wins by forfeits as .5 wins and losses by forfeits as -.5) make the standings look like this:
1. Anonymous 2 2. Zoomonkies 1.5 3. The Purple Cobras 1 4. Panda Monium .5 5. Backside George reverser's 0 6. Alpha Company -1
I count this way because we can't be sure that Zoomonkies or Panda Monium would have won otherwise. To those who think that counting system is flawed: I agree, at least for this early on in the season, but considering we have to play each team twice in the season it's not going to matter overall.
Too bad that until our game against BSG the other day I had not had host a single time in league play. I've been able to hammer jump and not see blood until Thursday night. You fail. I'm actually a better off-host tank, so if I were you I'd want me to get host every match...then again you're a person who looks to place blame on everything but yourself so I won't be surprised when you come up with some other sort of excuse. I'll go back to my teammates where reality is, looking at ourselves as mediocre and needing improvement. You stay classy, talking yourself and team up as though you are the best team ever and the only reason you can lose is the other team gets lucky.
Goodluck to everyone else in the league minus these two morons (Corn and BSG).
My problem with you is that you are one of the numerous morons in this league who places the blame for a loss on whether or not a person on the other team has host. Not only that, you blindly claim host. You can't deny that either, as you've already mentioned host in this very thread. Whereas other people actually use logic when they lose and say, "Hey, maybe I just should have played a little better." You and your bud there Shade or w/e his name is should realize that they lost with their own host. Aww, but you're too stubborn to accept the truth. I'm out of here though, this community is filled with too many babies who place too much emphasis on a minor factor. Have fun being ignorant with yourselves.
Host is not a minor factor. Ask any experienced Legacy player and they will tell you host plays a very important role in games. If you are good enough you can work around it and still win the game. We proved that in the playoffs during the summer league when we played you. You or one of your teamates pulled host because we know we didnt have it. Also Shad didn't even play for my team during the summer league.
Not to stir up the pot any, but I think everyone needs to simmer down. First off, you don't get beat 8-1 purely on host. 6-3 is my cutoff for saying you would have beat a team easily if it was a different host and 7-2 is my cutoff for saying your team could have beat them if it was a different host. 8-1 or 9-0 is just a good 'ole fashioned butt-whipping, which host might have had to do a little about, but the losing team probably didn't play well. It can't be blamed solely on host.
Second, RonGermany it looks as if you have pulled host more than that one game. I would like to bring exhibit A to the table: www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=671561655 . One would rarely do that in a game off-host. Exhibit B also proves this point... www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=671506845 . I do empathize with you though because I am on the team of a so called "host puller" who is supposedly nothing without his host (which is partially true ). I would just let all the comments about your host roll off your shoulders. If you are host then take pride in the fact that you did that on host (I know plenty of people out there that couldn't put up numbers like you do even with host). On the flip side if you really aren't host and get accused of being host just take quiet pride (between you and your team) with yourself that you are good enough to be considered to be host even though you really aren't. Hell you can even take my earlier statement as a symbol of pride if you truly weren't host in those games.
Alpha company's captian said they were dropping out tonight so this is how the division faires (using my scoring system, outlined above):
For sure: Anonymous 3.5 (have not turned in our win vs purple cobras yet, forfeit by Alpha Co. Have yet to play Zoomonkies) Zoomonkies 3.5 (forfeit from last week, yet to play against anon) Alpha company is -2 (4 forfeits)
I think BSGR is .5 (assuming forfeit by Alpha Co today)
Not for sure (assuming they played each other):
cobras are or 2 or 1 pandamonium is .5, or 1.5
So, though hypothetical, this is our current outlook for the division after week 2 (assuming all above assumptioons are correct)
1. Anonymous 3.5 1. Zoomonkies 3.5 (3 or 4). The Purple Cobras 2 or 1 (3 or 4). Panda Monium 1.5 or .5 5. Backside George reverser's .5 6. Alpha Company -2
I think both of our matches vs Zoomonkies should be done on SDNG, just because we're obviously the tops of our division
While I'm not Fox I am saddened by not having the possibility of playing SDNG :( However, that's your right, to refuse said challenge.
Since I am on the SDNG team I thus feel like I should to ask this (as sort of a quality control question, if you will). You're not required to answer, but it would help us in the future be a better service.
Is there a reason for not wanting to play a game with SDNG personel in the group as well (perhaps therorized lag, or the whole teleporter thing)? Or is it a going through the paperwork before that (finding a date and time when everyone can play)? Or is it just you'd rather just get the games over? Or is it another reason I haven't thought of?
yea pretty much i would just do it the normal way and get it over with. i dont wanna go through the hassel of gettin it prepared and stuff. but as i said im pretty flexible. but i cant speak for the rest of my team so i would like to know asap
