Great first night. It looks like we have a very competitive division here.
I, too, hope that Iwo Jima doesn't become a forfeit factory. Does anyone know what the story is with them? If they don't play, they might be replaced with another team and won't be invited to our...Dance Party!
If a team did not show up to their scheduled game, we are having teams who were stiffed send me an email so that I can investigate teams who are not showing up to their games. If you sent me a message over Halo 3 over this I am unable to check them at the time due to my 360 being red ringed. If we find that they do not attempt to reschedule the missed matched or do not reply to us directly contacting them then we will be removing them. If we cannot find a team to replace them then you will be able to claim a forfeit win, if we find a replacement then you would play them twice instead of them.

Silverwing, you do realize it was 3 vs 4 right? Thats hardly impressive. If anything, that proves how bad the Facekickers are that they agreed to play like that.

Str8 Griffn: 10-0 ... We already beat the two other good teams by good margins. Colonel manly's has a chance if they practice hard, but thats the only real threat at this point.
Colonel Manlys Wild Adventure: 8-2 ... Will probably lose to Str8 Griffn, but should smash everyone else
W&M Committee: 6-4 ... Loses to Griffn and Colonel Manly, but thrashes Facekickers and Cat Army
Retarded Facekickers: 3-7 ... I say they lose their second game vs Cat Army. Once the Cat runner stops being a retard, they will do fine. They beat the Facekickers at the tipoff half the time with only 3 players.

Grifballers of Iwo Jima: 0-10 ... I see a forfeit factory here. Missing the opening day is just unacceptable. Even if they do start playing, they obviously aren't very dedicated. I mean, come on, they missed OPENING DAY!
I have to agree to everything that AwsomeX117 said. I still think that Colonel Manly's should be in 2nd though. They would have probably beaten both teams they lost to when they played one man down. that would put them at 2-1. and it would have put Retards at 1-2 and cat army at 0-3.
Cat Army is NOT BETTER! If anything, they're worse!
In our game against them last monday, they didn't touch the ball once. Not a single bomb grab on their entire team. They only killed our runner once, and that was at the tipoff. Even then we promply slaughtered them and took the ball back before they even picked it up.
We scrimmaged against them a week after our first game and they certainly played better than they did week 1. They seem to be communicating better and working together as a team.
Now, I'm not sure if players from either team read this thread, but I just want to put it out there that the Ways and Means Committee will have to postpone our games tonight against Colonel Manly's and the Cat Army due to holiday-related schedule conflicts.
Looks like we might be half a game or a game behind Facekickers by the end of the night. :p

Tonight will be epic. The second place Ways and Means Committee is facing first place Str8 Griffn and third place Facekickers. It'll be the most consequential night of the season in determining who secures the top two spots in the division and a playoff berth.
Dude does anyone else agree that they need to replace Iwo Jima if anyway possible. Str8 Griffn wants to get their wins legit and also not ruin or stats because of 3 forfeits so far this season. That is pretty much garbage. And by the way see you tonight Ways and Means Committee.
The earlier div teams are much less likely to have a replacement than the later in the week teams, just the way a lot of the waiting list availabilities panned out, so chances are I may just scratched them and allow forfeits against that team if I don't have someone suited up and ready for it. -Phoenixrage
