So if i were going to sign up ::ZL:: for the GGL, i just wanted to say i have no clue what my roster is gonna look like. We r trying to finish off our final four series tonight, if we win, i wont know what my final roster is gonna look like for a about a week, depending on when the championship gets done. If we lose tonight, it will still take me a couple days to figure out how we are going to move on. So my question is should i just sign up with my current roster minus gforce, then, once things play out i can give you my final roster ?
Games start next week, so if you don't think you'll be able to play next week I'd recommend you not sign up.
If you can list four bodies on your roster now, though, and you anticipate some changes down the line, then feel free to register. You, as the captain, will be responsible for finding players for your week one games, though, even if your roster isn't set in stone. Fortunately you can borrow players from other teams, so that shouldn't be much of a problem.
If there a lack of dash teams, couldn't you just see if the captains would switch to vanilla to make the season and playoffs more fluent? You could make dash and other gametypes an option at all times during the regular season which could allow some dash games to take place.
We're good for this season. If we don't attract any more Dash teams, we'll still have a functional Vanilla league and a functional Dash league.
In the future, though, we'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it. The best case scenario is that we'll get Dash into matchmaking soon, which will boost the number of teams willing to give it a try in the league. Worst case, we'll go to Vanilla or Blargball, the real Grifball as the default next January.
