I got a team of three that would love to play. If you need any help on my part to help organize this just send me a message, i am more than willing to help.
I see you have not actually played this game yet... I'll explain it to you. It may be called 3on3 Arcade, but that is only because the users playing against each other only use 3 NHL players (4 counting the goalie) in a game. When it comes to the "Invite A Friend" option for Xbox Live, it only lets you play against one other person at a time. It is not like NHL 09's Online Team Play.
Question... Does anyone have any idea how many people we should do for this first tourney? Since Burnie says he'll make it a featured tournament, I don't want it to be too quick. But at the same time, games can go on for a long time... also depends if it's decided to be "best 2 out of 3" series.
two 32 person brackets will probably be good, cause i think a lot of people will sigh up for this tournament, i know i will. but i think making it best 2 out of 3 will take to long, because if you have 64 people playing up to 3 rounds, each of with can take 10 - 45 mins (maybe even more if their evenly matched), you will have a very long time period between games, so it should probably be just 1 game.
If NJ_Devils is willing to set up a Summer Tourney, with maybe less people if not that many people are gonna participate in this one, I think that another tournament would be a great thing for an easy-going arcade game to play. If anyone is reading this and has tha arcade game then comment here and say if you want to set one up. Without enough people participate, then this wont be able to take off, and I feel like 3v3 would be a great annual arcade multiplayer game to play.
If anyone famous on the RT boards would like to help bring people in that would be much appreciated. I can't really stress how fun 3v3 would be to play with other people in a tourney system.
