Alright, I'm a big Starcraft fan (not as big as Korea), and I would love to see/plan a Starcraft Tournament.
Now, I would like to toss around Idea's with anyone who is interested. How should this be set up, seeing as its a PC game and to keep track of scores and what goes on during the games would be harder, since there isn't a way (that i know of) to see live stats coming from a game being played other than being in that game.
I've already thought about only using the maps that it comes with as the maps to choose from, but what other suggestions does anyone have to make this a better experience?
If you don't own startcraft, you can get it, the expansion and players guides all for 20 bucks at a local gaming store.
I'd be down for a SC tourney, so long as all Koreans are turned away or given their own tourney
Honestly, 1v1 on ladder maps like Lost Temple would be a good start. Later on, we could do team tourneys or custom maps, but I think we need to get this going at its most basic level to draw more people in.
Ugh, this is very frustrating, and a complete crap shoot. Something has come up, and I'm not going to be home for the next few days. I'm going to have to cancel the Tournament.
If I could, i would put someone in charge, but I can't transfer Administrator of the Tournament.
If anyone wants too, go ahead and start another one. I will start one up, once I get back, and take a while to come up with an easy, fluid, setup.
Dude I'd probably get my ass owned lol, but I'd be more than willing to play. Aw shit I don't know how to work the damn live for it though not sure what's wrong. I'll look into it. Also since I'm not a sponsor and can't make tournaments someone should look into hosting a Warcraft 3:TFT Tournament. Like a dota or hero wars, etc or just a normal game tourny. I'm down for that even more(and I can work bnet just fine XD)
Rofl... this is the wrong place to say it, but yeah, a Dota tourney would be cool. I'd enter, even though I have no clue how to play. I just want to learn/play. :S
This is like 2 months late but can we organize another tournament? I would be happy to try and run it the only problem is school starts this week and college applications are a bitch. So if there is any intrest I would like to try and host one for you guys.
