As with any live chat, you're going t have massive amounts of spamming, and there will always be someone screaming out sexual things every 5 seconds. I move that some mods be appointed, and a timeout, and/or kick/ban feature be implemented. (You'll probably want to reserve the banning for site staff).
I'd hate to see a cool new feature like this become a breeding ground for idiocy.
Or rather, as idiocy what anything on the internet is doomed to degrade to, at least retard the infection.

We really need some mods taking care of this. I volunteer, as I do have a piece of me still loving chatting on this site, stemming from the old days of destroying the video comments sections with 18k posts of chat. :D But regardless of who gets picked for this, please PLEASE pick them fast.

I agree. There definitely needs to be some sort of moderation of the chat.
He apologized after posting something so racist, and gets a free pass? I think this live chat is a perfect opportunity to ban some users for life. Starting with that guy.
^Well I don't think they should be banned from using the site, just banned from the chat. It's not like you want to drive people away just for being a dumbass. Dumb people usually like spending money, and money is good for RT. lol
Sad part is it's the weekend, so chances of Ben or Gus seeing this thread until monday are kinda slim.
And really, currently since Live Chat isn't accessible, it isn't an issue cause users shouldn't be there.

Your analogy also doesn't work, the person knifing you would also have to be a civlian that somehow made it past snipers, land mines, machine guns, dogs, and 3 feet of solid steel to make it into the base, as someone who works there would be a mod or admin, who would be punishing you for breaking the rules.
