There's absolutely no Borderlands thread here? Anyway it's basically and FPS version of Diablo where you get quests, kill shit, level up, and get loot. There are four different characters, Sniper, Tank, Mage, and Soldier equivalents that each have three skill trees. Anyone else playing this out there?

Well, there's an X-Box 360 centric version of a Borderlands thread, but since I'm not playing that version, I'll post here.

This game is awesome! I'm playing through co-op with a bud and I'm having a blast. I'm currently a level 37 Soldier and he's a level 37 Berserker. I believe we're pretty close to the end, we just killed the Rakk Hive .

Just one question, though: I upgraded Roland's turret to shoot missiles, but it doesn't seem to be doing so. Is this a bug, and has anyone else experienced it? I've already re-assigned my skill points to something else.

Weird that it would be in general gaming. Anyway, see you folks over there.

I started playing last night. Probably about 4 hours in, so not far. Good thing is, there's lots of guns. Bad thing, lots of guns. I remember when playing a game and finding a new gun was exciting. I'm playing as Rolland and I've only found 3 decent assault rifles. At one point i dropped it for a pistol that was better, which i find to be somewhat strange.

That being said, I'm having a blast. The environments and characters are beautiful, action is fun, and clap trapper is hilarious and adorable.

I think it's there because the game play style is new and it's multi-platform.

There are differences in the game version though although slight. You wouldn't hear chatter over in those parts about fixing .ini files so you don't have to watch a bazillion movies at boot up and can turn of mouse smoothing.
