On April 15 we will discontinue the Xbox LIVE service for original Xbox consoles and games, including Xbox v1 games playable on Xbox 360 and Xbox Originals. I'll miss Halo 2 online but I'll really miss counter strike

You can play halo 2 using xbconnect. It uses the system link to let you play with other people

In reply to SwooshStab, #7: Cool! Thanks for posting that information! I was just about to get on here and whine about how I miss Halo 2 online. lol I mean, Halo Reach is loads of fun and everything, but sometimes it's fun just to play the more old fashioned one....to bring back the memories.

I wish I could have played xbox back when the original xbox live was available, i went from ps2 to 360 and then to xbox live for 360
