Maybe do some research before you post retardedness like that. It was confirmed that you can link 2 tablet controllers to the system (which I'm hoping later you will be able to sync more), and you can also use Wiimotes.
Was that confirmed? I thought it was still just a possibility rather than a confirmation.
Although I do know it was confirmed that you would have one Wii U controller and four Wii controllers connected at the same time, it was just a matter of contention whether you would have multiple of the tablet controllers connected.
Wow. I thought it was confirmed, but looking it out, I just realized it was said by Michael Pachter. And let's be honest, I don't believe a damn thing that guy says. So I am retracting my comment about the two tablet controllers.
Really, I don't much care about more than one tablet controller on a system at a time anyways, on games like Super Smash Bros. or Mario Party that I play Multiplayer on a single system, I think the new Wii-Motion Plus built-in controllers for the Wii should be good enough.
I'm mostly hoping they will show more of the system than the LoZ demo we saw last year. I'm intrigued to see how well this touch screen is, and know some of the launch titles.
I believe it was merely a tech demo, like the ones Square did for Sony for the PS2 and PS3. However, I would love to see an actual LoZ game planned for the Wii U (though I am hoping for a name change...) Maybe Retro can give it a go this time? They've done a great job with the other stuff they've done for them.
I wanna say that a new Pikmin game has been confirmed as a launch title, but I'm not positive on that.
Yeah, I am REALLY hoping for a name change, but I don't see it happening. I also read that about Pikmin at release. I also read that Batman: Arkham Asylum was going to be a launch title. I'm going to search for the links to confirm.
When the Wii U I started saving my money up and i have been wondering how much it is because I have nearly £200 and I hope it is close to that. Plus i hope Pikmin 3 is a release title
'Blockbuster... didn't they die in a horrible fire of company downsizes and bankrupcy?'
Well, apparently the answer is a hardy "No". Or maybe a slightly audible "no". But nonetheless. It looks like someone working at the now-smaller-than-a-few-years-ago movie/game rental company has taken a few snapshopt showing the entire list of Wii U games in Blockbuster's computers.
You can see the list in it's entirety on the link above, or, if you aren't wanting to sprain your clicker-finger, then this are the games on the list:
Aliens Colonial Marines Assassin's Creed Batman Arkham City Darksiders 2 Dirt 3 Formula 1 All Stars Game Party Ghost Recon Online Just Dance 4 Killer Freaks From Outer Space Marvel Super Heroes Metro Last Light Monster Party New Super Mario Brothers Mii Ninja Gaiden 3 Pikmin Rabbids Party Land Raving Rabbids Rayman Legends Shield Pose Splinter Cell 6 Sports Connection Tekken Your Shape 2013 Zombie
Now, granted, some of these games seem pretty predictable, but some jumped out at me like Batman Arkham City, Assassin's Creed, Shield Pose, Zombie, because of the third party devs seemingly making games for the WiiU, which gives me VERY high hopes for the console, and some because of my curiosity at the name of the games really makes me wonder what entails playing it. But what does anyone else think.
Me personally, I find this intriguing, but I also wonder if Blockbuster did this "leak" just to remind people the company still exists, lol.
Anyways, anyone looking forward to these games? Any thoughts? Discuss.
Well as far as I was aware of, they were announced that the devs who made Arkham City and Assassin's Creed were creating games for the Wii U, I didn't think that the games themselves were officially announced.
For me, the list (hoping that it's real and not some marketing ploy from Bluckbuster to remind people they are still around) just confirms the fact that Nintendo is pulling out all the stops on this new system, and that unlike the Wii, this one will have full 3rd party support.
Woot. Just went to EB Games (Gamestop) and pre-ordered my Delux edition Wii U console. Also pre-ordered Super Mario Wii U, because you can't get a Nintendo console without a Super Mario game.
