Oh, do you mean like someone who discriminates against handicapped people? I guess that makes sense. Parents just want their children to be protected from incorrect worldviews or something. I dunno. Maybe they just hate fun.
Hasbro's property? Bullshit. Derpy is a product of the community. They have no right to alter her appearance in any way. Her trademark boggle eyes define the character and influenced her behaviour. And when it comes to a character with such little speaking involved, appearance and behavioural traits are all that define them.
Were it not for her "derpy" eyes, she'd just be some background pegasus. That one little animation goof inspired the community to create a truly beloved character which was then implemented into the show. Until this disgrace came along of course.

Bro, you just went full Derpy.
Seriously, you're coming off like an entitled jerk. Scale it back. Hasbro makes this show that you love so much, and they employ the animators who put Derpy in each week. Hasbro giveth, and Hasbro taketh away.
You have no right to call me "Bro", when we clearly do not see eye to apparently boggled eye on this matter.
I'm not annoyed by the alteration of a character. I'm annoyed by what the alteration of the character is suggesting from a moral and ethical standpoint. To repeat myself, I myself actually DO suffer from one or two mental handicaps. So I take very serious offense to the idea that anyone who even expresses behaviour that even slightly conforms to that of someone with mental difficulties must therefore be deemed a retard to be swept under the rug and concealled from the public eye in case they offend somebody. THAT is why I am angry about this issue. Okay? Good.

Well, I guess I know who's neg-modding me.
I have a mental disability too (not that I want to downplay the severity of whatever ones you have), and I'm not offended, just to put that out there. I'm just trying to avoid demonizing people that I have never met. You might want to stop that. Chill out and realize that there are people on the planet who don't see things exactly the same way as you do. Maybe there are parents of children with Down's Syndrome who are offended by Derpy, but you don't know that, and you most likely never will.
"In a way, I understand why majority of fans are upset but blaming, pointing fingers and throwing hate around is not the way to do this. You're forgetting your own motto "Love and Tolerance". You bronies are one of inspiration and our greatest achievement. Don't sully your name by spreading Hate and intolerance."
Look, I'm willing to accept your opinion, but stop trying to impose it on me. You and I don't agree on this. End of. Nothing you or anyone else can say will change my mind on this matter. I think it's wrong, it's just part of my personal ethics and moral code to have this opinion. I am one of the most tolerant and open minded people anyone's likely to meet, however I have my limits. When someone attempts to suppress ideas like this, that's where I draw the line. I'm not trying to "blame" or "hate" anyone. I just think it's wrong to try and ignore such a blatant insult like this. There's a very thin line between being tolerant and accepting something and having no principles or backbone to stand up against what you know to be wrong.
