Im on the fence with it. I mean, i can understand why it's layout is the way it is. But i feel like there are some things like the gamercard that should still remain on the left as it relates to the overall feel. It just looks weird having it in the middle underneath things in stead of to the left in a different column.
Hey I think the new page layout is a great new look. It feels like let me see how to word this.. Aesthetic if i am using the word correctly. But it looks real beautiful. I have no problems with it at all and really like what you guys have done with it.
I have a question: I am pretty active on the Adopt a Newbie v2 thread and today one of my newbies asked me about Interests, what they are and what you do with them, and I realized that I really don't know. I have a few Interests set, but I really haven't ever interacted with that feature of the site. So could anyone explain to me what the point is, and what I'm supposed to be doing with them?
You can view who shares an interest with you by looking at the userlist on that interest. And you can discuss the interest within the interest's comment thread. And you can post pictures about it in the interest's images. Also, the new "Suggestions" link in the watchlist polls other users who share interests with you as people you might be interested in checking out.
I totally agree with you. I don't even have an X-Box, i just have an account a friend made for me on his X-Box. I play all of my games on the PS3, which has exclusive games that the X-Box doesn't. So I am completely screwed over when adding games to my interest page, even though I am a huge gamer on a gaming website.

I was a bit surprised when I found out my profile had been changed, and it took me a bit to get my bearings. Overall, I have no complaints. It looks great, and it feels a lot cleaner than the older model. I'm pretty happy with what I got.
I've been on the site for 4 years, and I gotta say the new site has some problems, I'm not getting any of the replies to group threads (which is all I use and there's a whole segment of the community like that) on my homepage anymore, so I actually have to go all the way over to a forum (which takes over 10 minutes on my phone with 3G, which is 90% of the time, because the new site takes forever to load on it, and also completely eliminates multi-tasking with the site) and then that's only to check if there's new ones, it really annoys me that you guys took out good features, and made it worse, the preview didn't have the showing me new reply problem, in fact the preview improved it by making them show up automatically, without the need for refreshing, but it did have the slow loading problem, and now everything seems to move slower than it used to. I can't understand why you guys had to change it, because it was fine how it was, and it was even better when the preview was an option, but now, it's got some big problems that need working out.
I'm not sure if this is the right place but I noticed something strange. There is a milestone for being part of the first 2 million users. But it says in the Community Stats that there is 1,255,768 members registered. Is this wrong or is there something I'm missing?
Until we reach 2,000,000 members, every new member will receive that milestone. The first 5000 got the one for being in the first 5000 members, and so on. Where is your confusion coming from?
I'm having an issue. There is something that I want to add to my interests, but it isn't a pre-existing one. I've looked all over the site and I can't find the answer, how can I add a new interest?
