Actually it was so that they didn't violate the protocol about AI directly interacting... Not like Delta always follows that rule anyway. But as York said, "You know the rules"
Hmm. Wash says "at least that was easier than the last one" after recovering Delta after a firefight and seconds before an explosion. What do you think happened last time? Did he encounter the Meta before Recovery One?
He may well have. Or he stumbled into a different fight while recovering whoever it was (as opposed to fighting just one guy who's really just trying to get away).
I think it's worth noting. It seems like the Season 10 Thread is producing popular posts, and it's nice to see some of the more funny post making the top posts.
Noting quietly as you scroll down top posts? Sure. Keeping track of how many? Not so much.
Top posts isn't a competition though it's definitely nice to get on there.
In Reply to nothing beyond my own musings, #100000000000: While I have this thread open I figured Id actually post something Id thought up as the roster for Break In and Anti Break In Freelancer Characters. Feel free to argue one way or the other- these are just my guesses as they stand right this moment.
Break Ins Tex York North South Maine
Anti Break Ins Carolina Wyoming Mystery Blue Washington
479er I expect to be on Anti Break Ins.
AI count: Break Ins: 4 (5 if Tex) Omega Theta Delta Sigma
Anti Break Ins: 4 Carolina's 2 (Xi and Iota?) Gamma Epsilon
Face offs: Carolina VS Texas Wyoming & MBG VS North and South Washington VS Maine Holographic Locks VS York
Seems like a fair fight to me if they go by this, though Maine VS Washington is more than a bit unbalanced...
Then again we may not have met relevant freelancers yet who will be participating.
Edit: Theres also the possibility that ALL these freelancers tried to break in, which would be cool too. Just a sidenote.
There's something really magical about the bit where Wyoming is shooting at Wash, and it's just stiff upper body while his legs just sort of prance around wildly. I can't not laugh at that.

I'm response to BG Tex's memory she says I'm season 2 she doesn't remember much about the implantation process. She could misremember other things.
Also Epsi Tex is based of Epsilon memories. What Tex knows Epsilon knows. Epsilon memories are just repressed. It's also possible he pulled memories from Alpha so Tex got some of those too.
I personally think Wash's breakdown occurred during the break-in itself. Epsilon completely unraveled while Wash was in a snowy region, which matches up with where the one break-in took place.
I honestly don't want to see Maine and Wash fight in the prequel. They've done that enough in the Recollection Trilogy, and I don't want see the same thing that we've already seen many times over... unless they introduce something new and interesting to the fight.
Well, we saw Epsilon out on Sidewinder break down in Recovery One. Still, I think it's worth noteing that Sidewinder will likely be important in the end of this season.
I want to see Wash 'Unleash the Fury' once he realizes what is going on with Alpha. But I fear he will just become reclusive. I think Wash v. Meta is done enough already, so hopefully we don't see it happen again.
I like to think that RT wouldn't do Wash Vs Maine. It would show a neat contrast from where we know those characters end up end their working together.
In reply to CorbanG, #22991: Agreed and how many people helped make it.
In reply to WiskersH, #22996: Ahhh... Wow I completely forgot about that one, and it was made 4 years ago. I actually like it it's very fluent even if it's not detailed. I wonder how many people helped make it too.
In reply to _W2daERN_, #22997: In reply to alynnidalar, #22998: Well he also said that's the fifth one this month, so possibly he did encounter the meta. What I don't like is the inconsistencies of the freelancers not recognizing each other. Wash met Delta, dead York, Wyoming, Meta/Maine, South, and dead north. He didn't seem to recognize any of them. Yet Tex and York remember, even though York believes omega was with her in season 9 epi 10.
In reply to bradleykins, #22978: In reply to Bensonator, #22979: Yeah I agree, it's the same with recovery one. I think they didn't plot out the mini series well enough. If anything it would be better if they just made a entirely new mini series ( but its really the two past mini series, out of mind and recovery one) with actual facts we know.
Didn't they see Wash "unfit for duty" or something like that because of the Epsilon incident. I assume they brought him back before recovery one. Perhaps his memory is a little jarred, but he did know about all the freelancers when they were mentioned by Church and command. The Wyoming thing confuses me the most, since he was supposedly still with command. If he was I just don't understand why he attacked Wash.
Or, he was doing his duties as a Recovery Agent. Making Delta identify himself. As far as Wyoming, no words were exchanged, leaving how they precieved eachother up to speculation. After all Wash was working for PF still, Wyoming was out on his own.
Unfit for duty can mean many things, though it was more implied about his mental state because of epsilon. And yes they brought him back for recovery one because he didn't trust AI's, hence why delta was put into a storage unit. The bugger wyoming isn't with command. He's a bounty hunter I believe, and was probably still there for York's armor ability and maybe delta, to protect himself from meta somehow. He ran and shot at wash because he was escaping.

I dont think Wyoming was out on his own. He was working with both Omega and Gary. Omalley would call in to VIC. I think Wyoming was still with PF. Also the reason why he was hired to take out Tucker for figuring out Red and Blue were the same.
He also said that he was supposed to take out Tex after he took out Tucker.
I think I have to go with Wyoming being a bounty hunter, out on his own at this point. Yes he was working with Vic and O'Malley, but the phone call he got where he says 'Right then, Usual fee.' Means he would be working for hire.
I think he wanted to take out Tex to get a little revenge for constantly whipping his ass.
