I think this is my first post in about three years. All I want is to put my voice into the mix and say I miss Geoff on the podcast too. AH vidoes just aren't the same gut-wrenchingly funny content!
I do agree that it is a bite that Geoff is no longer on the podcast as of now. But we just got to move on. The podcast is still funny as always to listen to. Maybe once achievement hunter is fully planted into the ground Geoff may return to the podcast.
I think this clearly defines what lots of people have been saying. He's not done with RT. In fact, he referenced the Credit Counseling short with his comment on time travel. He's just not on the podcast, which is 100% his perogative. AH is putting out more and more good videos and as Jack says, they're definitely "Pushing Show".
Geoff was a very entertaining part of the podcast, always had a good story to tell. But with AH performing so phenomenally that way it has been, I don't blame him for putting his time and effort into it.
Are they putting out "more and more" videos, though? It really seems like they're lagging behind in terms of the games they cover - I guess they stopped with the TOR videos, and now everything is either Skyrim-related or Trials-related. *Shrug*
I do like the "Let's Play" vids they do, but they aren't the same as the Drunk Tank.
Listening back to #133 and hearing Michael describe how he was volunteered immediately, it does seem like he just grew tired of it, which sucks. Oh well.
Then we must assume he didn't pay his taxes and is hiding from the United states government so they don't get him for avoiding his taxes. But it probably has something to do with his personal life as we haven't seen griffon in a while either...
I think the home renovation would have distracted him quite a lot. Probably other stuff, too. Whatever, it's all cool. I have about 120-odd Drunk Tanks if I feel the need to hear his voice.

As long as everything is alright in the company and there is no bad blood, I am good. Although I do miss Geoff on the podcast, the only new (well, old but recently new again) addition to the podcast I actually enjoy is Gavin.
Did anyone notice about the same time Geoff stopped showing up that griffon closed her account here. It makes you think that there is more going on here she has plenty of time to post on twitter and other things but she straight out closed her roosterteeth account there is something more here
HOORAH seems to just always be in a hurry to make people stop talking about Geoff's notable absence from the podcast, as if it's somehow an inconvenience to him that people are curious and discussing something that is curious and warranting of discussion. Over a hundred days without so much as a log-in sounds like a little more than "busy," not that HE'LL make anything of it.
Tell you what, soldier. Rather than jump in, blurt something as though you are the foremost authority and then make it seem like everyone is stupid for not just taking you at your word and stopping the discussion, why not just unfollow this particular thread? I mean, it's clearly irritating you that people are discussing this.
Rooster Teeth in general has been very, very quiet about Griffon's departure and latest endeavor. Given their propensity to give shout-outs to people that work with them or do local things that they enjoy, why wouldn't theFORT have ever been brought up? Twitter might reach a lot more people, but we're talking about a DEVOTED and LOYAL fanbase, here; people that make RT an active part of their social media--not just the passive followship of Twitter. It's undeniably odd that Griffon's departure, latest endeavor and Geoff's drunk-tank drought all sync up, but mum seems to be the word on all of it. I HOPE I'm wrong about a little bad blood mucking things about, but a reasonable amount of logic and evidence (albeit circumstancial) seem to point the other way.
Preserved with posterity, too! Excellent...well, her log is empty, so there's no way (for me) to tell when the last time she actually contributed to anything on the site was. Her last journal (announcing her departure) is seven months old - it's interesting that she's still listed as "Cast & Crew," but I'm not sure if the guys are in the habit of demoting people who've left.
(I would also like to blame Minecraft for my mistake - my eyes haven't itched like this in a while...)
All of that being said...stupidity being taken into account...I do agree with tellemon in that the whole affair has been strange - it wasn't until Michael started being a regular that we even heard Geoff's name mentioned on the podcast again, and they've never mentioned anything about Griffon's leaving/starting The Fort. But...I'm mostly beyond caring at this point. If he doesn't want to be on the podcast any longer - which seems to be the case - then that's his prerogative. It's really a different animal these days anyway...
That'll teach me to blindly trust. It makes next to no difference when she signed in, anyway. It all really makes no difference. This thread is likely to cause nothing more than increasingly unlikely speculations involving the Ramsey's and RT Crew. For all we know, everyone has been replaced by dopplegangers and impressionists save Griffon, who was just too difficult to match in either category.
Good point. This thread isn't NEARLY important enough to be following. My theory is that once Griffon left the company, Geoff wanted to take a break from the public eye for a while to avoid that line of questioning, and focused all his energy on AH. He's slowly been appearing more often, and I think that's because he finally has a decent staff of people under him. Its not like he mysteriously vanished, he just wasn't on camera or mic for a while. AH has grown exponentially since he stopped appearing on the podcast, that can't be denied.
Anyways, I'm just going to leave my tin foil hat here and walk out, the damn thing never fit anyways. Some of you are thinking way to hard over something that frankly doesn't matter a whole lot.
To stop all this speculation all that would have to happen if someone come out and acknowledge it. Just saying hes busy with AH and thats it is just fanning the speculation. With big gaps in information people will fill in the gaps with there imagination and theorys. And after posting everyday for 7 years then just stop posting here Its a liitle weird for her
