So lately I’ve been obsessed with earning credits and I’m starting to realise it is no easy task and sadly there is no help around so I decided to make a thread where you can share information and tips to on earning credits.
My initial strategy was this: Step one: Play living dead. Step two: Repeat. Step three:????? Step four: Profit.
Now it wasn’t and ideal strategy but I did get around 1k credits each game but later on it realy isn’t much, now playing the living dead give’s you about 1k per ten minutes excluding the time it takes to find a match so there must be better alternatives.
After about 2 weeks credit hunting this is what I learned. First do all the challenges for the day, it may not seem like much but they seriously help so make it your top priority. Second look at your accommodations and see if there are any easy ones you missed and do any that are not completed at all.
Firefight is your friend, so jump in sometime. I noticed that arcade firefight gains you about 4k credits and can sometimes go up to 7k if you complete a commendation. I would also recommend a sniper over a rocket on any maps besides corvette.
Daily Challenges, definately, and the weekly challenge. Those ones are obvious. I have set up a routine for my daily Halo dosage. I start out with arena, and play until I earn a 1500+ rating, which usually knocks out a daily challenge or two at the same time. I then switch over to Firefight, and play a match or two of score attack. And lastly I play a campaign mission. This spreads out my ability to earn Commodations in all three catagories, so I can earn more more often (in theory). It usually takes about an hour and a half to two hours. That way when I'm done, I can decide whether I want to keep playing Halo or do something else. I estimate I earn about 20-25k a day. Not a whole lot, but a nice steady rate that adds up as days go by.
I just play the game with my friends and I seem to earn quite a lot of credits quickly.
My only real thing to say: avoid all the LASO challenges, sure they are worth a lot of credits but you will earn way more than that playing competitive in the time it takes to do one of the challenges (at least for me, maybe you are some kind Master Chief)
I know its stupid but, I have to do them I think its somthing about the way the credit bar keeps going... and going... and going -when you get that really big bonus:)
What i did was keep on replayingcampaign missions, so i usually got at least 2k worth of credits every time and there was no matchmaking delay. I EARNED 300,00 CREDITS. then i got Xbox LIVE and lost basically all my credits due to a stupid entry limit. Now Im demoted to warrant officer when i was a senior major. Anyway, campaign missions. it's the way to go!
in like 3 months i became a field marshal (OFFLINE) by going to firefight setting health to invulnerable and leaving the game on for an hour (1:15 works well) and exiting the game and getting a WHOLE LOTTA CREDITS
I never really cared about earning a lot of credits, but if I was in a race with a friend or wanted to get some armor I'd usually just do Firefight Arcade. It's SUPER fast credits, and the daily and weekly challenges obviously.
