There's too many, however, if I had to pick one it would be Final Fantasy XII. Dragon Quest VIII comes in close second.

Hmm tough choice but Final Fantasy X was the first game I played for the ps2 so I'm going to put down as my favorite.

Final Fantasy X was great, but all time favorite game on the PS2 is Jak 3.

I loved Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix a lot as a kid. I spent hours and hours playing that and the first two Midnight Clubs with my friends.

I really loved Silent Hill 2 (obviously that now has a HD re-release, so I am currently enjoying it on PS3) But I am really in love with the Persona 3 FES JRPG at the moment, it sucks that it's out on PSN in America yet because of different publishers it isn't out in the UK

Jak II, Jak III (but they were hard as hell for me as a kid). Simpson's Hit and Run. Great Game.

let's see... Final fight streetwise, The bouncer, Kessen, Ape escape, Time splitters, Gun, Fight club, Kingdom hearts and I think that's it :D

the .hack//gu trilogy, Bujingai (yes this is a game released in america), Robot Alchemic Drive, Viewtiful Joe's 1 & 2, Onimusha 4, and a standalone dmc 3 special edition.

My favorite PS2 games were probably, Sly Cooper, T.H.U.G (1&2), Lord of the Rings Return of the King, and Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. Star Wars Battlefront of course.

Kingdom Hearts would be a fantastic remake if they do it, and the one game I played about everyday with friends was Star Wars Battlefront 2.

I technically didn't play it on the PS2 (but in the HD collection) but I am currently in love with Metal Gear Solid 3, such an enjoyable game and I can't get the Snake Eater theme out of my head

In reply to Q3PS, #1: Definitely NBA Ballers, the solo game is fun and the multiplayer never gets old, I bring it over to friend's house's all the time to play it since I still have a copy, would be nice to have a digital one on the ps3.

GTA: Vice City without a shadow of a doubt. Also, one of my favourite soundtracks ever too...

Bauldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2. That game was soooo good when I was a kid I used to play it all the time, and as a kid it was obviously a bit of a challenge to me which always makes it more fun. Was also really fun to play with my friends 2 player. I also just played it recently now a bit more grown up and found that it was really easy compared to what I remembered, and I completed the whole game in a day. :D
