Well, that list just about covers it. However, Skyfall (the next James Bond movie) comes out November 9th, and The Great Gatsby is out next Christmas. 2012 definitely looks like it's going to make up for 2011's awful movies with some really spectacular ones.

I'm pretty excited for Friends With Kids, Adam Scott is apparently exceptional in it. I think it's out sometime in the Spring, they haven't released a date yet.

Underworld: Awakening and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance look fun. Sure, their predecessors were really just 'meh' at best, but their trailers make them seem like they'll at least have some cool action scenes that'll make 'em worth watching this time around.

I'm exciting for the regular big releases, but I'm probably most excited 007- Skyfall. I've always loved the older Bond films, and while I haven't been a huge Daniel Craig fan, I have hope that this will be another film to add to a list of classics.

One movie that's unfortunately going to be overlooked (especially since it comes out the same day as Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) is The Secret World of Arriety, Studio Ghibli's take on The Borrowers. I've loved every Studio Ghibli film to date and I'm sure this one wil be just as fantastic.

On the down side though I'm probably going to have to see it by myself because I'm sure none of my friends are going to want to see it with me.

The Secret World of Arrietty may do better than you think, given Disney's backing, and that it's the only family movie opening that weekend. I agree that it looks amazing!

I really hope so, I want people to get to know Studio Ghibli.

Also I completely forgot, even though I'm sure it's going to have issues, I'm going to see Chronicle when it comes out. Definitely looks interesting.

The Grey, because of Liam Neeson of course.

Prometheus, because Ridley Scott is just amazing, and the Alien universe is dear to my heart.

The Hobbit. Self explanatory.

Definately 007 Skyfall. i've been a fan of the Bond franchise for YEARS, and have been anxiously awaiting the new Bond movie, especially after the rumor that the franchise was dead after QoS.

The Dark Knight was probably one of the best movies I've ever seen, which was a bit of a surprise, since Batman Begins was very "meh" movie (yes, that IS official terminology). I'm definately going opening weekend to the Dark Knight Rises

Also The Grey, thanks to Burnie's reccommendation (which comes out tomorrow! Hopefully going tomorrow night after work!)

Maybe the Hobbit, though I'm not as big of a LOTR fan as many people are...

I just saw "The Grey" and i thought it was pretty good. I'm really looking forward to "MIB 3" , and don't forget about the supposed "Ghostbusters 3", I'm really curious as to how that will turn out.

The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, and Jeff Who Lives At Home.

That third one is kinda out of right field but the cast is fantastic and it looks like it has a lot of heart. Here's to hoping 2012 is a great year for movies.

Yep. It's being directed by Len Wiseman (Underworld Series )...starring Colin Farrell.
