I was numb with excitement today when I learned about an Australian billionaire's plans to build an exact replica of the Titanic. The ship (dubbed Titanic II) will be built in a shipyard in China, and is scheduled to make her maiden voyage in 2016. I know it's early, but I'm booking my ticket! I mean what could possibly go wrong? ;)
I won't celebrate just yet, since plans to rebuild Titanic have been proposed numerous times in the past. Even so, would you take a chance to book a ticket on "unsinkable" Titanic II?
Yeah, I've heard of that movie. It's incredible that some movie studio thought this was a good idea. I mean how can you read a script called "Titanic 2" and think to yourself: "My god this is brilliant! People are gonna love this! Best picture material right here!"
