Vanille from Final Fantasy X!!!has the most annoying voice I have ever heard, I had to mute the TV whenever she talked because is was so annoying! And nothing she ever said was relevant.. to anything! Throw in the fact that she has that ridiculous accent and she is the most annoying character (in my opinion).
Really? Maybe the result of that line is a little annoying, but the characters themselves aren't bad. It's like getting annoyed at an NPC who only says one line.
Yeah, but there are more reasons why I don't like them, how they would almost always ignore my disarming so I could pay a fine, not letting me pay (when they acknowledged me disarming) my fine even though I had enough money, being in the way of me dropping on un-needed items off the side of a building. Stuff like that.
It's meant to be an Australian accent, like Fang, but what they seem to have ended up with is a kind of squeaky high-pitched Australian bastardization. :/
Vanille was actually my favorite character in that game, and the only thing that really bothered me was that it sounded like her accent would change occaisonally. I'd have to say that Hope was my least favorite in that game.
Agreed, apart from anything else, he seemed like the least developed character by far. All the others had a constant stream of revelations from the past, whereas Hope just sees his mother die right from the off and proceeds to spend the first half of the game brooding. I mean, I'm sure that's fine as a character's motivation, it just seems like less thought was put into him than the other characters.
Its kinda ironic that he plays a more plot centric role in 13-2, despite being relegated to a non-main character.
I think Hope is just a wanna-be Emo-Boy Cloud that drew the short straw in weapon assignments because they both got to be their broody selves by seeing someone close to them get killed, Hope was a kid and saw his mother die, EBC was recovering from a mako addiction and saw zack die. I also think Hope and Vaan look very similar.
I liked 13-2 up until the end, then I did not like it at all, and hearing that it would be continued through DLC i was 100% done with it. I didn't pay $80 for the collectors edition of an incomplete game.
To be honest, given the sheer volume of DLC they're putting out, I'm surprised they didn't release some sort of season pass. I'll probably end up buying the story DLCs though, just 'cause I want to know the ending now I've started. I'm not buying any more of those battle DLCs; I got the lightning one and after about ten battles I still haven't recruited either of them. :( (I think after you've paid you should get them automatically from winning the battle once, but what do I know?)
The character that annoyed me in13-2 was captain cryptic, it always took me forever find that guy, and some of the questions were random chance while others you couldn't know and just had to guess. >:(
I never found captain cryptic once, but I'd have to say that my favorite character from 13-2 was Chocolina, she made me laugh almost every time i bumped into her, especially in the place where it was dark and she said that she swears she paid her electric bill.
My biggest problem with DLC that involves the main story line is that it feels like they released the game before they finished it or they're just trying to sponge as much money from the game as humanly possible, but while i am interested in the story, ill most likely watch the rest on youtube or something lol
Everytime I would walk by all he would say is "Talos be with you" or something along those lines, he just wouldnt shut up. So, I finally had enough and just layed into him with everything i had, which at that point was a bunch of arrows and then i just kept "shouting" at him.
You know what, yes...yes it could. Either you have to spend ages protecting them when you just want to fight or they're being down right rude. Bloody kids.
This seems like a trend. Every skyrim child, the kid in red dead, the two FFXIII kids.... I would argue that bioshock's little sisters aren't annoying, but I'm not sure if they count because they are high all the time.
Marumaro from Blue Dragon. I think the developers found the most obnoxious voice actor they possibly could for him. Come to think of it, almost every RPG I've played has had that character that you want to kill ASAP.
adoring fan from oblivion. kinda wish he came back in skyrim just so I kill him with unarmed finishers like, choke slam him to ground or punch his face in infinity loop.
Oh, and I thought of another. Captain Keyes from Halo:CE...especially on Legendary, when you're aboard the Truth & Reconciliation, trying to save his sorry ass. Then he runs out in front and dies instantly.
Oddly enough, Navi never annoyed me. I guess I was too young to think as such.
My most annoying probably has to be.... Kaepora Gaebora. Feathered bastard knew how to troll button mashers whenever he talked. Oh, you want to rush through by pressing A? Well, I think I might be put "no" as the first answer instead of yes so you can listen to me all over again since you obviously didn't! fuuuuuuuuuuuuu----- :c
Otherwise, any bard or peasant from Assassin Creed games, or pedestrians in Infamous who can't seem to get the hell out of the way and I end up shocking them on accident -face palms-
Moneybags from Spyro -series, this f*cker want's all of your money, While you're trying to safe the world, this guy want's to charge you for everything he cans.
worst character in any game has got to be Lymle from Star Ocean the last hope my god i just wanted her gone with her constant "kay?" after every god damn sentence! that's why as soon as i could replace her i did lol
