I would love to see Psychonauts 2, Advent Rising 2, and Psi Ops 2. Another game that I think deserves a sequel is Kung Fu Chaos. It was a fighting/party game that came out in 2003 for the Xbox, and is one of the most hilarious games I have ever played.
San Andreas, not necessarily a sequel a remake might be be better, but if it was a sequel it would have to be in the same time period, because if it went forward even 5 years It wouldn't be anywhere near as good.
Honestly, for the game I have in mind. I would like a prequel.
For those of you who played the Jak & Daxter trilogy,we know that Jak's real name is infact,Mar-paying homage to the legendary warrior who helped save the Planet from the Dark Makers way before the events of J&D even came around. We also know that Jak was shown (according to the expressions of the other characters) leaving the planet with the Precursors to help them in their fight against the Dark Makers.
There's been a couple of time-travel theories going around-and of course it's completely plausible because of the Rift Gates that were used to transport the protagonists from Sandover village to the future Haven City. (Also Jak's place of birth)
Who knows? Maybe Jak did infact travel with the precursors and traveled through time with them. His influence at the end of Jak 2 did pretty much help bring about the events of J&D:TPL.
Just something I figured would be nice to have from Naughty Dog..If they aren't too busy with their latest games.
I want Dungeon Keeper 3! Played 1 and 2 like crazy when i was young, and still to this day, not a game like it has been made and that baffles me. Id sign a petition to get Dungeon Keeper 3... DEFIANTLY!
I'd like to see Halo 3: ODST 2. Even if it isn't a direct sequel, I'd like to see more of the ODST side of things. It puts the Covenant in real perspective, showing a little more accurately what it would be like for the best mankind can be to fight these aliens. The overall game had a great feel to it, even if there wasn't a multiplayer.
Recently I got bored and was playing some Virtual Console on my Wii and thought.. Maybe a Pokemon Snap sequel? If they put it on the Wii-U, I know Nintendo could make a good sequel.
I would love a second Jade Empire! I loved the original. Staying with Bioware, I would like a true KOTOR sequel on consoles done by Bioware. I wasn't a big fan of KOTOR 2 and I am not a MMO type of guy. I'll keep dreaming though, I won't be getting either of these games. Well at least I can hold out hope for getting Versus 13 right?...right?
Just wanted to add, I would definitely like to see a new Oddworld game along the lines of Stranger's Wrath. Not necessarily a sequel to the game but something with similar gameplay; I really enjoyed the original. Oh and a Kingdom Hearts console release. I'll settle for them announcing anything about KH moving back to consoles, and would love an HD collection with 1, 2, and BBS. Sorry my Square/Bioware fanboyism really came out in this post. This kind of thread is just asking for people ranting though.
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System. Seriously, this game was my childhood. Awesome weapons, a unique cast that could actually like, and multiplayer that not only rewards you for your single player progress, but mixed players' Droids with neutral Mils that you could take over. It even had an ending that set up a potential sequel (Spoiler: the one who built the Mils escapes into orbit)
XIII. I enjoyed this game. I liked the cell shading of it and its comic book style. Then when you think the conspiracy theory in the game has all been unraveled at the end more crap happens and the game ends. I figured after an ending like that a sequel would be in the make but turns out I was wrong.
What we need is a legacy of kain game, probably a reboot and preferably soul reaver since the series ended already (although they were going to make more but crystal dynamics canceled it). it would show that vampires aren't sparkling teenagers or soap opera characters in new Orleans, and it would play very similar to darksiders, cause thats how the game played, plus it would just be amazing. p.s. death in darksiders 2 looks an awful lot like raziel, soul reavers protagonist.
I'm surprised no one's mentioned it yet, but a full on sequel to Shadow of the Colossus would be amaaaaaaazing! The first one was brilliant, and the HD remake definitely did it! A new setting, new protagonist, and new colossi (with maybe some of the one's that were cut from the final game involved) would definitely be worth 60 dollars.
Most of you probably have never heard of this, but...Breakdown. Maybe not even a sequel, I would be ECSTATIC to have even a remake. Such an amazing cult hit.
I also would mind more in the Shadow Hearts series. The first two were amazing, but the third faltered.
Very true, but personally a sequel, or at least a spiritual successor to it, would be one of the few work buying when compared to the endless onslaught of terrible game series.
