There's a couple of threads with Immersion ideas....even if half of them are practical, that should be a good start. ...Barb can take over for Griffon as Evil Scientist Burnie's evil counterpart...would you like it to make a comeback/ 2nd season??

Video game characters can still do tasks while being attacked, to replicate this we constantly fire paint balls at the test subjects while they are required to preform a verity of tasks. Such as opening up a container looting it for items, solve easy puzzles, navigate an obstacle course, fright someone with foam sword or other paintball gun.
well...they got the Immersion idea threads already....don't wanna turn this thread into one of those. RT makes the final call on which to do, BUT who else would also be good in Immersion episodes or could switch off with Gus and Geoff? Gavino and Brandon? ...Definitely rage quit...?
The I think if were going to present it, we should present the whole package. I think Burnie is already open to the idea, and if enough people demand it, and we got a list of ideas already it might be enough. I don't think he would want to search the forums for it himself, RT has enough to do already.
Idea: Nap vs chunk sleeps Step 1: Get two people, Step 2: One person has 8 hour sleeps for a week, The other guy has 30 Minute to an hour nap's though out the day For one week and at the end of the week see who is the most energetic and wide awake
Well that's the thing, right? I didn't look through many of the Immersion ideas on those threads, but while a lot of them sounded good in theory, they would be extremely difficult to make and/or really expensive. I don't think they necessarily ran out of Immersion ideas, but trying to come up with ideas that wouldn't take pulling the entire or the majority of the RT team together, off of other work, that also wouldn't cost an arm and a leg is probably the biggest challenge of Immersion
don't worry about that part ;). Yesterday I went though and found all the doable one and made a write up for them. in total 6 main ideas and then 6 other smaller ideas that can go with the larger episodes, are be rolled into their own episodes. I think only one of them required the entire RT team and on the flip side one of them really only requires one person and wouldn't cost anything more the maybe 10-15 dollars in equipment.
The write up took about 4 hours, then on chat Barbara came on and told me I could submit it to her through email, then after RTX and Comic Con cools down they will take a look at it.
Hey now! Lets not get crazy about this. We all want immersion back but lets not forget this is RoosterTeeth. They've been good to us here on the community. I've submitted the list of ideas I compiled and Barbara said they will take a look at them after RTX and Comic Con are done. So before we go breaking out the pitch forks lets wait and see what happens.
In the mean times someone should start an actual petition using a web petition service to see how many people we ca collect.
No, I actually talked to Barbara though chat and said shes going to read it. I'm not saying the will actually do any of the ideas, but she seemed to like the idea of bringing back immersion.
What its going to come down to is if the they enough free people to do it. and how much everything would cost. I have a few ideas in there that are not very expensive but I don't know all of the costs that go into this stuff. Even if they do it, it will be a while before they can start making the videos.
