I thought it would be a good idea to bring up the topic. What's your favourite character in a game.
Mine is Zidane from FF9. He is awesome and that, I think, have several things in common.
Watch out in Halo or Homefront, Im good at aerial combat, light on my feet and tend to pinch vacant vehicles, so don't leave that empty scorpian or landed AH-64, its where I will pinch it.
i love the robotfriends in portal two.they made the multiplayer very funny. but i loved to see how Shepard saved the galaxy in mass effect.he/she is totally my favourite,then comes the master chief.but even more affecting for me was the fate of issac clarke...
My favorite game character is the ones you create you're self like in Saints Row i love the fact that i can make a character that looks like me or a fat Chinese dude or something.
Frikkin Geno from Super Mario RPG. I get so excited whenever I get to Yardovich and he joins my team. John Marston, is such a likable guy who's just trying to do things right. He made me think cowboys were cool like Captain Jack Sparrow reminded me how awesome pirates are.
Has to be either Nathan Drake or Mario for me. Nathan Drake is a brilliantly written action hero. one of the better adventuregames to ever be released and one of the best stories in a video game. period.
OR Mario from a nostalgic view, ive played all the games as a kid, and have always like the weird italian plumber. The character is legendary and will always be one of the first things you will remember when talking about the beginning of gaming.
Everyone has been answering mostly with main characters and badasses, but I tip my hat for favorite character to a side-kick. The orange ottsel himself; Daxter!
I would have to go with Link from 'The Legend Of Zelda' series, especially the character they portray in Skyward Sword. He's just my personal favorite because he's just such a friendly character, He doesn't even have to speak to bring that feeling across. He's enjoyable to play as since he's really not your Stereotypical Male Hero, in fact his facial could almost be considered to feminine (Especially in Skyward Sword). And really his only Character Trait is he's friendly to everyone and doesn't come across as some Kickass Alpha Male, unlike so many other Game Hero these days.
For me it's a tie between Link from The Legend of Zelda or Master Chief from Halo. In the end i would probably say Link because it is my favorite game series and as a character he is just so courageous and badass.
I feel like I grew up with Solid Snake throughout the years so he's definitely my #1. A new favourite has to be Adam Jensen from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I played the shit out of that game and loved having robotic limbs.
HK-47. Hands down. He's the best medley of humor and brawn. It also helps that he doesn't give a shit about the main character and talks down to him directly while still maintaining loyalty and a little admiration depending on the player choices.
Agent Jules Merit from Syndicate. That guy was a stone-cold badass. Also fitting that category is Hudson from Black Ops. The three missions you played as him were the best of the game
