The link dump is amazing. I applaud whoever it is, whether Lyndsay or Gus that does it, about the thoroughness of it. It's such a subtle yet meta-troll at times. I'm currently listening to podcast #152 and they're talking about making cat forts. In the "Now Playing" section of iTunes the image and link change rapidly within a minute. It turns out that the person crafting the link dump has listened to the podcast and thrown in EVERY possible explanation for castle architecture. I find it awesomely funny in a very excessively thorough way, as if knowing the difference between turret/parapet/and crenulations was necessary. It's a bit like an Easter Egg...or being trolled!

Great examples:
Podcast: #152 10:30 - within 25 seconds the link dump rotates through Turrets->Parapets->Crenulations)
Podcast: #169 2:45 - There is a split second of "Euthanasia and pens" and then a ream of car manufacturers. Six links in 20 seconds!

I like it whenever Gus uses the link dumb to make fun of other people.

Like using a link to win an argument and calling everybody else stupid in the name of the link in the link dump.

Well we now know that it is Lindsay, as mentioned on the most recent podcast. I love how she said "what am I going to learn about today?" I think she has fun with it and likes to link things they talk about for two seconds.

Going through the link dump is one of my favorite post podcast activities. The fact that it is so thorough makes it even more amusing. Kudos to Lindsay.
