I'd like a nice one that would make live streaming sound easier (and also make everything sound badass of course)

The two main ones i'm looking at are Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Pro or ASUS Xonar DX

Anyone know what I should look for? I'm not really sure

screw it, i'm just going for the fatality. I'm probably going to buy my computer before I get a reply (or at least I hope so)

Currently the Sound card I use is a Realtek HD Audio output

It's not so bad when you consider the sound quality in regards to either music or gaming. However as I do not live stream I really couldn't tell you.

I didn't know you could get sound cards anymore, I thought they were just attached to the graphics card or something...

I just went and bought the fatality one. I ended up buying my computer after a long conversation with a friend who finally showed up online.

@mattplan that's an on board sound card. Integrated, it works fine, except that it really really doesn't. But you don't notice that until you get more into broadcasting and not just listening.

@mutant735 That's what sound systems are now a days! Computers built around sound cards. They don't make a difference until you get into performance grade music and it's detectable when you get surround sound lossless audio, but they make streaming/performance over 9000x easier and better. Without a good sound card you can usually only get stuff done with splitters, ghetto rigs, and other things that hurt the sound quality a LOT.
