Meh, I'll give it a few more episodes before I decide if it's good or not. Personally, I didn't think the first episode was THAT funny. Which is odd, I mean cmon, Joel was the turtle! Why wasn't it funny?! I couldn't tell who the pigeon was though.
I enjoyed it. It was a bit of an out-there kind of thing when I saw it. It's definitely not the kind of RT video that I'm used to. But it got a couple of good laughs out of me. I think I'm looking forward to more.
The only part that legitimately made me smile was at the end when Tony the Turtle said that Aids is really sick, they think it's cancer. For whatever reason, the turtle's face seemed funny.
I think I may need to see a few more episodes before I pass judgement on it. I'm not sure I enjoyed it that much, despite the fact that Joel did one of the voices as was said in a previous post. I found myself asking out loud, "What did I just watch?" One of my roommates, for some odd reason, responded with "Porn", to which I responded "I must have some sick fetishes then."
I'll give it a few more episodes before I decide whether it's good or not, but from the first episode I didn't find it all that funny. Which is weird since Joel was in it and it's a Rooster Teeth video.
The pigeon is Chris, he created the show and he worked on it for a very long time. I for one loved it. Very clever dialogue, great voice acting and I really enjoy the overall drawing style. I've seen another episode already and all I can say is that I think you guys will be fans in no time.
If Chris was the creator I resend my previous inquiry on the inspiration. Clearly a masterful work of Chris' colorfully creative mind. Look forward to more episodes, if he decides to keep it going.
I really enjoyed it, It has made me laugh every time I have watched it. You can tell Chris spent a long time creating it, cause it is a good idea executed well and the dialogue and character interactions are spot on. A few more episodes will hopefully make the people that aren't too keen change their minds.
I have to admit, when I first saw it through the RTX stream, I was pretty taken aback by the giant shift in style from what we're used to from Rooster Teeth. Watching the episode release on Friday affirmed my thought of, "Hmmm what did I just watch."
The first episode didn't really get any laughs out of me at all, but I'm not ready to pass complete distain on it yet until they've released atleast 3 more episodes. Then my opinion can be more based on a like/dislike ratio instead of a first impression glance.
I actually didn't laugh until the end where it was just the Pigeon staring and commenting about the dead squirrel's body. I don't know....again, I feel that I need more episodes before I judge. Especially since I enjoyed the first.
I really didn't enjoy the first episode. The humor was too different from what I love so much about Rooster Teeth. But that being said I'm still interested to see future episodes, because I'm sure they'll find their comfort zone with this kind of show eventually.
i actually laughed at the new one because it seemed like it might have been inspired by something they talked about on an episode of the podcast. i thought this one was better than last weeks, but apparently i'm the only one.
As this has not been going on for very long I'm only going to give a first impression but on the whole I think it's good. A light hearted funny series which is a good change of pace from RVB.
