Blood Gulch Chronicles = 6-10

I just had a shocking revelation. The Blood Gulch chronicles has the same number of seasons as the seasons after. I've always been comfortable with the fact that the Blood Gulch Chronicles made up the majority of the Red vs. Blue universe, but that is slowly slipping away.

Anyone else feel the same, or am I crazy?

Even if you follow RT or Red vs Blue in the slightest manner possible, it'd be kind of hard to not notice that this is the tenth year of RvB.

So, yes. You are crazy. There is good news though: you might not be crazy after all. Just bad at simple observation and math.

I can see what he means though, BGC used to be the majority of the seasons of RvB, then they moved on to all the Freelancer stuff (Revelation, Recreation, etc), but now with Season 10, it's no longer the majority... the BGC days are in the past, sadly. Oh well, that's what the DVDs are for, to relive the awesome that was Blood Gulch.

i've also noticed that they've usually ended season 6-9 with 19-20 episodes at most as compared to the bgc back then.

I like to think of RvB as a sort of Trilogy. 1-5 is part one, 6-8 is part two and 9- present is part three.

1-5 is of course "Blood Gulch Chronicles", 6-8 I don't know maybe just use Season 8's name "Revelations", and 9-present would be maybe "Project Freelancer".

Yeah, it's not really a surprise to me, but it is kind of weird to realize that next season, BGC will be less than half of RvB!

Seasons 6, 7 and 8 do have a name; they're the Recollection trilogy.

Yea it is crazy to think how long RvB has been around now. It certainly has come a long way.
The BGC will always be my favorite seasons though. Especially 1-3.
Its not slipping away; it will always be there to make us laugh anytime we want. : )

I feel this way too. The BGC will always be my favorite. I've watched those first three seasons more than I can count, with 4 and 5 slowly moving up there to join them. My friends and I quote it all the time, we watched them, I actually had just audio of seasons 1-3 so I could listen to it while I was on the go and couldn't watch it. I haven't really seen anything past BCG though, a few episodes here and there, but I just never sat down to watch it all.
