If you have BF3, you know that the game comes with two separate disks. One for Single Player, and one for Multiplayer/CO-OP. My question, is if I install one of the disks to my Xbox 360 hard drive, will it also install content from the other disk? So theoretically, if I install the Single Player disk to my Xbox 360 hard drive, will it also install the content that is on the Multiplayer/CO-OP disk?
No, what ever disc you install will only install content from that disc alone, so if you install the singleplayer disc it will only instal the single player not the co-op or multiplayer
Yeah, after some research I was able to figure that out. My BF3 Multiplayer disk must have some damage underneath the disk, as I can see none on this surface. It's not really that big of a deal though. I can install it from another source such as through a local friend, or renting the game.
The disk works just fine though; I've never had a problem with my Xbox 360 reading the disk. I just wanted to install it for a fallback plan, in-case the game got any major scratches or cracks.
I learned to do this the hard way, when halo 3 came out and i got my first 360 it fell over with halo 3 in it twice and survived, then it fell over with cod 4 and proceded to make chain saw noises. It's never stand up again after that.
Yeah, my cousin had on the edge of a chair standing up and one time his dog ran into the chair and made it fall off. I felt so bad about that I pitched in for his new xbox since he's the main person I party up with. But ever since then, never shall I stand it up
