It was always going to be a tough season, but the past two weeks have shown a completely different team from last year. I dunno... I keep an optimistic eye on the horizon, but I'm not expecting much.
By the looks of it, the NFC East will be a crowded Division. In terms of a SB win, Niners have just too much class for pretty much everyone right now though. They will be hard to beat.
Possibly the cardinals with that surprising win over the patriots and I would also say maybe the panthers with their offense. From the AFC I would be surprised if the bengals made it again because of the division they are in, but they do have a lot of young talent and sneakily good defense
Honestly, I can definitely see a scenario where the Skins win the East, Philli/Cowboys/Giants are all so inconsistent that if Washington can be there abouts at the end of the season, they might just sneak in.
definitely man cardinals surprised me a lot pats are definitely a elite team and the bengals have really improved from two years ago me i honestly feel like the buccaneers have a great shot of getting in as well
In reply to MPZ, #12: yeah that division has always been up and down but it will be really close between the eagles and the redskins plus i feel that RG3 will have a better season than luck
yeah i forgot about the bucs they have been surprising so far but their division concerns me even though the saints have not looked too hot so far and it definitely looks as though rg3 is more ready (or maybe just has a better team as of right now) than luck he has been impressive
their defense just isn't good enough...and it's looking like the saints will be fortunate to even reach 500 leaving that division wide open for the falcons
For the Packers, it looks like it's a bit of rinse and repeat when it comes to our defense. Inconsistent They give up so many yards and points but manage to save the day with miraculous interceptions. #1 team in the league last year; worst defense in the league. Every game is a toss-up. As a fan, it's maddening. Even a game against the worst team in the league is something to fear (especially since the Packers tend to always lose a game to a bottom-tier team every year)
that's true but they have a pretty good chance of cruising to a 1 or 2 seed in their weak division and once they get 1 playoff win under their belt who knows...not that im a falcons fan but i wouldn't put it by them to make a good playoff run their offense is pretty nice and their D is solid
Well going back a couple seasons when the Falcons were the #1 seed in the NFL, they fell to pieces when the Packers came into town. They have a worse time at the end of the season than most teams
I can see the Falcons easily going 16-0 with their schedule, and then beating the Texans in the superbowl. Their new defensive scheme has already given them the highest turnover ration in the NFL, and they also have the best receiving core by a lot. I know it's only week 3 but I don't see any team that can stop the Falcons, certainly not in their regular season schedule
it's the nfl...every team is capable of beating every team any given day... it happens all the time where incredibly bad teams beat one of the best teams in the league...look at the chiefs and packers last year or the rams and saints and those are just the first two that came to mind
