if you have your "perfect job" you can chime in too Right now my only real job is doing science shows for little kids with mad science Inc, but 98% likley I'm going to law school after I graduate next year. then I dont know exactly what I'll do, I suppose it depends on what I decide to specialize in.
I work for the Government of the United States of America. I get paid to read manuals (not a joke at all). People in the same office as me pace, drink coffee, and examine a computer screen every fews minutes. And get paid for it. And you wonder where your tax dollars go. I can't think of any other better arrangement, except maybe get paid to play Halo 2 or other sweet games months before the public.
I work at Menards (like home depot but better), I'm also CEO of my own computer business...... then there's the full time student thing i got going on too, that's work in itself, bloody college
My dream job would be to crew a tall ship, a square-rigger, just sailing around the world popping up at anniversaries and celebrations and the like, and when not sailing, jetting around on signing tours because my books are doing so well.
Total dream job.
My real job? I ice donuts. I get paid $8.50 an hour when I should be getting $17. My boss has wandering hands. Whatever.
My dream job, run my own Hot Rod Shop. What do I really do? I fix computers all day... which in my list of jobs that I'd want in life ranks right above Truck Stop Bathroom attendent.
Navy food sucks! OMG Air Force chow, now that's something to look forward to. My tech school was at Port Hueneme, shithole of California. It was an hour from home, so it was ok. but getting back to my point: Navy food sucks! They would serve some undercooked ass chicken that was still flappin' it's wings. gross. Ask any Air Force mechanic which food is better, Air Farce or Navy They would all say Mc Donalds! It was across the street from the dorms hehe
So yea, I'm a mechanic in the USAF. Aim High baby!
Air Force has the worst commercials though. We've been waiting for you. Come one man, that slogan does not beat: I am an Army of One The Few, The Proud, The Marines Life, Liberty, And the pursuit of all those who threaten it.
