I am no longer new...as I have been here over a month and a few weeks, I have figured out how do everything, but, I have not figured out how to post comments on my own pictures, I noticed a lot of people do...but how do you do it?
You can easily view alerts by clicking the link at the top of the webpage, but this link takes you to your homepage. If you wish to comment on anything in your profile, you must first view your profile, then go to the specific item (ie images, journals, personal comments) before you will be able to comment on your own items. The comment box should be located at the bottom of your screen and should appear as a normal comment box for you to type in.
Good lord people, when will you learn that Noobs will come in all shapes and sizes. I havn't been here very long, so I guess that would make me a noob, big woop. Or are you just bitching about how they make dumb threads? There is a defference between Noobs and Kids.
a 22 year old guy was helped last night ... would you call him a kid? But seriously, this topic has already prevented the creation of three threads, so it's already starting to save space. It will take time to go into full effect, but please - I understand that newbs and n00bs can be annoying at times, let me try and educate them. negmodding hasn't stopped it, so let me try something else.
I'm a noob with a question. How can I download episodes 1-6 and 10-39? I've seen 6-10 and 39-43, love them all, but I'd really like to see the beginning and middle espisodes; I know I;'m missing a lot of storyline. Thanks for any help at all.
Woah I am not a noob...just because I didn't know how to do that one thing doesn't make me a noob...I have been here a long time...and I have never made a FLAMED thread...
Hold on, this thread does not help only n00bs and newbs, but anyone who asks a question. I am not going to call you a n00b, please make sure you do not instigate any flaming on this topic.
All I was replying was that the topic was created to help newbs and n00bs get used to the forum, hopefully before their first topic post. In fact though, this topic will help anyone who is in need of it, wether or not they fall under that category... And for the record, if anyone does get flamed on this thread, I would prefer it to be me and all negmods should go to the first post. This thread is not for hating one another, so if you feel hate - hate me for creating it. All I meant earlier was that I didn't want anyone to jump in an start arguing.
Stick with us and it'll stay that way... if you start doing random, sparatic things right now - people might not enjoy them... but we'll help get you started.
Ok...anyway i gave you 3 mod points for answering my question...I have over 50...so I may give you another one...if you continue to help other people...
Because they are useful tools, I am doing a quick lesson on how to spiffify you text...
In a message/reply box, there are four buttons: b, i, u, and s. These buttons let you manage how you want your text to appear in your post/message. the b stands for bold, i is for italics, u is for underline, and s is for strikethrough (strikethrough).
text style tags are the letters in the boxes between the brakets [ ]
To use these buttons properly, all a user has to do is click the button, type the text they want modified, and click the button again. Note: anytime you click a button, it puts the style change at the end of what you currently have typed and puts your cursor (the blinking placeholder when you type) before the effect. you must insert any text you want modified between the text style tags.
text should appear like this in your message/reply: bold - (b)bold(/b) italics - (i)italics(/i) underline - (u)underline(/u) strikethrough - (s)strikethrough(/s) with all the ( ) replaced by [ ]
If there are any more questions on how to use these, please do not be afraid to ask. There are two other boxes labeled "link" and "img". They are used to place hyperlinks and images in your messages/posts and are covered in this topic.
Who does the different voices for the characters? I know that Burnie does Church, Joel does Caboose, Kathleen does Tex, Matt does Sarge, and Jason does Tucker, but I can't remember who does Tucker, Wyoming, or Grif (but I think it's Geoff on the last one)
oops, sorry. Jason is the voice of Tucker, which I remembered just before I hit the submit button, so I threw it in, but forgot to take it out of the other part.
