Anyone from the UK or who follows English football around here?
I support Tottenham Hotspur (you guys know Kasey Keller right yanks?) who are doing better than I thought so far this season.

So guys, who do you support?

I've got a season ticket at Rotherham United. Its very, very depressing.

We've scored 5 goals in 12 league games this season. No wins, 4 points adrift at the bottom of the coco-cola championship (Bloody americanisation whats wrong with calling it division 2)

If it wasn't for Arsenal on the telly i wouldn't have seen a decent game all year

Oh Well, could be worse. I could support Sheffield Wednesday.

Come On England, Stuff the taffys this afternoon

After I lost my digital cable I no longer get ESPN World or whatever...no soccer for me....I love it. I played it for 13 years, I am 18. It has taken up many years of my life. Fun tiring stuff.....

I am starting to like Indoor soccer as a player much more as well, anyone else experience the joy of this sport?

Soccer/Football is never on here in the states and it pisses me off, but a friend from the UK has informed me that I am a huge Manchester fan, I guess I'll have totake his word for it.

Tottenham rule! Keller kinda sucks, although i've never seen him play in the rigourous competition of USA's qualifying games (lol), but in the premiership, he's rightly been shunted into the 2nd spot by Robbo.

personally i reckon we can finish in the top 6, if we can keep up our good defense and get another goalscoring striker in January.

Another scouser fan here although I live a good way away from anfield & well have never been to be honest I only started supporting them because they were the best when I was growing up. But I stuck with them through all the crap they have given me & lets face it they are crap. I watch the game every time its on telly I don’t care what team is playing because I love football & Liverpool are the ugliest most inconsistent team I watch. It really annoys me that I can enjoy watching an Arsenal, Man U or even Everton match this season & see good quality football the I watch Liverpool they bore me with build up play that goes nowhere & a host of new Spanish players who one minute are good the next they are pure shit. I know its a different game out there but come on these are professionals & taking four free kicks that go straight out of play is well not a good way to impress me.

Also does anyone else think that Benitez is the clone of Houllier? I mean they look the same play the same style of football get the same crap results I would like Sam Alerdice or Martin O’Neil tbh but never gonna happen actualy i wont Big Sam for the England job fuck off Sven. The way I see it is look & spurs now I got many mates who support spurs & they are giving me so much crap this season. Reason we get new manager players etc & well we are 11th with a game in hand....that is not even nearly good enough spurs get new manager players & they are 4th although they aren’t the most entertaining team in the prem Liverpool aren’t either & id rather look bad & win than look bad & be inconsistent.

Saying all this I reckon after the xmas break the team is gonna gel nicely Stevie Gerrard will be back & we is gonna finish 3rd.....that’s what I hope anyways.

I also go & watch my local team play they are the only other team i give more abuse to than liverpool.

I'm a Liverpool fan too. Don't agree with some of what hellequin said, but I do think that once Gerrard returns and the new Spaniards get the feel for the English game that the team will be a top-three contender. I think we have to give Benitez time. Houllier did not leave the club in great shape and with Owen gone I think it'll take a little while to pull things back together.

Been to Anfield once, last season vs Fulham (crappy 0-0 draw), and am actually going there again next Saturday to see the Charlton game.

Go on the Mighty Reds!

Give him time i agree he could do well but what i seen so far we still makin same mistakes ie long ball & passing that never leads to an end product. I dont think we will miss owen to much (should of sold him after he scored 3 goals against germany got a decent amount 4 him.) baros is amazing & hopefully him & cisse if they are ever alowed to play togeather we could be a decent force. Next season will be the one that really counts this is just trial & error letting benitez find the right play & the others find there feet.

I also think we will win the champions league befor we win the prem.

Read to day aswell that that morgan chap has put a new £100,000,000 bid in then we can buy morrientes now he is pure class.

I gotta tell ya I'm loving the gunenrs and their win streak, its teaching all those man united fans a thing or two about getting lippy how arsenal winning the EPL was a fluke. I know i'll probably get bashed but its just nice to see my team winning now, though we always seem to lose it in champions league, heres to hoping for it this year.

(50 games in a row without a loss and Arsenal gets an award. United wins the Treble, that's not a great achievement?) I'm a United fan and I can admit that Arsenal is playing a lot better than my team now. But I take comfort in the fact that you guys blow in Europe. :>

i think chealse will win the champions league this season unless all their players get upset & leave.

The treble was good but its alot harder to go undefeated for 50games, thats just amazing i wudnt of minded putting a bet they go the whole season again without losing in the league.

united got 3 fat throphys great amounts of money & a perminate place in the history books so i dont think their achivment went unrewarded its just well everyone hates you guys :-p

Whoa whoa whoa, back up here, more than one team in the competition. :)

So why haven't they done the Treble? In fact, why don't they even win in Europe? Phbt. Your argument holds no water. It is a great accomplishment, but I really really doubt it holds a candle to winning the Treble. When Arsenal wins the league, the FA cup and the Champions League I'll reconsider.

Thanks. ;P But yeah, they did get some recognition. It's just that people are calling Arsenal godly now. For what reason? Winning and drawing? Arsenal've been playing well for a couple of seasons, United played well for ages before this recent slump. United have won the European Cup twice, Arsenal how many times exactly? How brilliant a team that has so few achievements! I'm not saying they're crap, I just think that people are making a lot of fuss over them while United is being crap on the side. I wish Ferguson would retire.. <_<;

Have to agree Robbo is a better keeper, 7 clean sheets in a row, 5 for Spurs and 2 for England, doesn't get much better than that.

As for the league I think Assenal or Chelski will win it, Tottenham will do well to finish top 6 with such a new team, but it is looking good, we might just do it.

Oh got my Tottenham Vs. Arsenal ticket on Monday, I used to be a season ticket holder but had to give it up when I went to uni.

hahaha we came back to beat villa, (just cause henri decided it was time for himt o start trying) but hey i've gotta say kudos to man united for winning the trebble but you guys owe it all to ole, its a shame he's injured this year i like that babyfaced guy. But you have to admit that comeback was pretty astonishing even ferguson admitted latter on he believed it was impossible, and i mean it did happen it was just really really incredible that it did. which i suppose made it a hela lot better for you man united fans. oh well the real test come later next week or is the week after next when the gunenrs travel to enemy territory in old traford. thats gona be a battle, i just hope for a repeat of the community shield. but it'll be ahard one for sure.

When i said chealse would win the chapions league i really ment out of the english teams i reacon they got probably the best shot of winning gotta explain meslef better.

& as for saying why havent arsenal won the treble we'll i could just say why hav'nt man u won 50games in a row.the thing is united's treble winning team has grow older & players have moved on they are just rebuilding. look at the players they got coming up they should do pretty well.

Like you pointed out the gunners have never won back to back seasons either so they have alot to still do befor they can be classed as good as uniteds treble team

Also ya notice liverpool won? ya see i worked this out years ago if i slag the crap out of them then they always ram it down my throat to prove me wrong thats why i do it to keep them winning.played boys!

The point I was trying to make is that going 50 games in a row without a loss doesn't make them a godly team. :) It makes them a good team, but that's it. Too much hype.

So anyway, who do you support?

Walsall fan here, lonely as i am, god were doin badly this season, unfourtunatly all the fans are blaming Paul Merson which i dont agree with cause ffs its his first job and these guys seem to want him to be winning 8-0 every game give him till the end of next season and see how we stand

My tuppence worth:

I hate Arsenal - in fact they are my least favourite team in all of world sport. It all stems from when they beat Liverpool to win the League in 90-91. Having said that, I think that the current Arsenal team is the best team there has ever been in English football in terms of dominance. They are dominating every English team they play - sometimes without even trying - and it sickens me. Their performance against Villa yesterday is a perfect illustration; the Villa goalie was, to use an ice hockey expression, standing on his head and Arsenal still won 3-1, with 16 shots on target. Their failure in Europe is partly down to them not travelling well... especially with Bergkamp (who is as good as he's ever been this year) missing most away games. Going undefeated for as long as they have is phenominal, at least on a par with United's treble.

Liverpool's win yesterday was a great result too! Go on the Mighty Reds!
