I think I may be wrong about the elbow (couldn't find it on youtube) but there is no way this was accidental. He actually pushes and looks at Scott Parker prior to it so there is no way he was unaware of his presence before kicking (after it has already been won by Parker).
City top of the league, pole position to bring home the title. they dominated that game. at some point everyone's had a go at Mancini for being defensive, but United sat back the entire first half and tried to hit City on the counter. City had all the possession, all the chances, controlled the game. they got a tough game at Newcastle, but it's their title to lose now
Yeah I understand why he played Park, but he hasn't played in ages. Nani was still a bit rusty too and Fergie had also been raving about the Rooney - Welbeck partnership this week.... why not start with them as well as Valencia and Young who have been brilliant recently! Giggs shouldn't be a starter anymore either, especially with those alternatives.
When we were sitting in the pub watching (well the Working Mens, since that has all the dodgy channels), there was a good 30 seconds of, "Did that actually happen?" Before we were up and cheering. Everyone is talking about that second goal, but even the first was an absolute stunner.
I just hope we can do something similar to City on Sunday...
