I'm sure you're about to get modded down, but honestly, it could be amusing as a one-time deal (like a combined PSA) if it's done once Strangerhood has its legs under it. Editing the graphics from the games together would be tricky, though.
Admit it, Griggs and Sarge getting into an argument would be funny. Caboose interacting with Tovar would probably be good. I could imagine Tucker trying to pick up Catherine out of instinct, then getting repulsed at her theatrics and backing off.
already possible lines are flowing through my mind.. I think this would be a brilliant little side thing they could do maybe once... it would be hilarious.. and then, to be assholes, make it sponsors only! mwahahahahahahaha!!! or not.. whatever everybody wants...
i don't think it would ever happen, it would be incredibly tough, though it would probably be funny and definitely would raise the knowledge/popularity of the Strangerhood that'd be cool if they did a split screen, Halo 2 on top and Sims2 on bottom
Yeah, but that was for one still shot (I presume you mean the first NYC video). It could be done, obviously, but I imagine that RT would prefer to be coy and probably keep it at little in-joke references between the series. Actually, all of the 'special effects' in the time travel episode make me think that RT is getting more ambitious about using computer editing.
Actually, the better matchup would be Red vs. Blue vs. Ash, but I digress, and I'm sure people are tired of hearing about him fighting every other franchise in the entertainment industry.
Why don't they just have the RvB people on the tv in Sims2?
Like it starts off as a RvB PSA, but then zooms out and its on the Sims2 tv screen and the SH people are watching it. (I suppose it can be put there through video editing). The SH people make some-kinda comment on RvB (probably a bad one to make it interesting) and the RvB guys start talking to them through the tv.
Thats one way I could see combining the two together.
I would prefer that the characters' faces are never 'officially' revealed. Although the 'Behind the Helmet' pictures are great, knowing for sure what they look like would kind of ruin the mystique, and besides that, a lot of RvB's humor works because the nodding helmets are so inscrutable. I think the characters would actually be less funny if we had faces emoting for the camera.
Surely it would be relatively simple. Use Red vs. Blue clothes for some sims. Just make it an outfit inclusding clothes and face paint etc. I'm not sure of the technicalities. But that would be very, very cool. For a one off though. Any more and it would just be odd.
In reply to Goat_Sucker, #2: well you think it would be impossible but how do you think they did that digital effect on one of the red vs. blue guys i forget who. n e ways all they have to do is crop the guys from strangerhood and put them in a rvb movie (or the other way around) i do think it will be funny if the guys from rvb storm in and they find wade sleeping lol. it will be pretty hard to do but i think it will be greate
Hey, they could just have Sarge call Wade on the telephone or something? Maybe Sarge is trying to get a channel open to the receptionist guy and he gets patched through to Wade instead? lol that'd be great.
In reply to Postal112, #1: [s]WTF, trying to make the EXACT same characters from the two DIFFERENT games would be hard, but just make it so church and griff and all them are actual characters, and somehow they actually lost their armor! See, it isnt THAT hard to make an episode outta that.
I know it would work but... a spartan out of armour?????Are you crazy????? I mean thats like...that'd totally spoil it like when they took Vaders helm off in ReturnOfTheJedi that spoiled his image totally!!!
I do like the idea of them being on the T.V. it would be like the mid-series episode of Nadesico

I think that llpalazzo is onto something. Having a RvB PSA on the sims' TV would be pretty simple to do. In the Sims 2 you can put videos in a folder and they'll play it on their TV.
People have mentioned creating/placing the RvB characters in Sims 2, but what about the other way around? That would be an interesting change of pace. The Strangerhood people could appear on RvB through a crazy dream sequence or something, wearing colored armor and appearing in the middle of a fight. Ah, I can see it now...
Simmons: "Um, sir, I think the blues have called reinforcements to mount a final, bloody battle against us." Sarge: "Those blue devils think they can overpower us? Over Grif's dead body!" Grif: "Aw, crap."
Sam: "Uh, hey, are you all right?" Dutchmiller: "I've been shot? Faaantastic!"
Griggs: "You call that a gun, chump-face? This is a gun!" Wade: "Hey! Cool rocket launcher, man!"
Nikki: "Hey look, pink armor." Catherine: "That would go great with my new Proda bag." Donut: "For the last time... LIGHT RED!"
Caboose: "I... have no idea what is going on. Is it play time?" Tucker: "Whoa. Caboose, there are chicks out there! Quick, let's swing by in the tank." Tovar: "In my country, I drive tank." Tucker: "Crap. Well, at least this time I can get the sniper rifle." Chalmers: "Hmm. And what is this contraption?" Tucker: "Oh you gotta be fuckin' kidding me."
And eventually Sam wakes up back in the Sims 2 house again... Sam: "Whoa... that was the weirdest dream I've ever had." Wade: "Must have been the pepperoni and potato chip pizza from last night, dude."
