will they make new people each season? Will they remake them? Will the whole season last until they all die? what if thy age too fast? And how do they get Duchmiller to do that thing he always does in the trailer??????????????????????
Think... They save and use the same save OVER AND OVER! They save different times to get different effects (like the making Griggs angry)
OR they hack the files giving them the ability to use everyone of the commands, and hacks it to do what they want (age, food, and complaints) -IE: Trainers-
That would my guess, I am most likely correct... So, there would be the possible scenarios.
I'm not 100% sure about the movie program but i read it somewhere but u never know who knows what they are saying. i do know that u can turn free will off to make dutchmiller do the hand motion.
That hand point thing Duchmiller does is an automatic gesture done by popularity sims (I think). It occurs everytime a sim meets another sim for the first time that day.
The Sims 2 Movie maker is really just a feature in Sims 2 that captures footage. There is no other benefit to gameplay, the game plays the same, it just captures the actions of yours sims as movie footage.
I'm pretty sure no aging is on and free will is off. Still, it will be a challenge for the guys, but one I think they're up to.
In reply to TheWeazel, #1: Ok, Sim freak here....What cha do is package the family and replay as long as necessary, or use the anti aging cheat. 2 Basic ways to do it. You can also save the story in installments, package that and return as needed. I got more TS2 advice, but don't think I'll rant here. You guys might egg my poor ass. And damn... TS2 is meant to be twisted and bizzare... In comparison to the original game...
FWIW, there is also an anti-aging drink in the game, the Elixir Of Life. As long as the sim keeps drinking it, they will not become old.
I believe the anti-aging cheat stops kids from growing up. The elixir is only for adults. Not that THAT will matter in The Strangerhood - there's no kids... ~yet~
It would be cool if one of the Strangerhood guys got abducted by aliens and came back pregnant with an alien baby. I vote for Wade.
the amount of cheats in sims to will make it really easy for them, and not to mention the trainers from www.gamewinners.com , the one i used locked the current sim's current mood , just move the sim to a new place and use the trainer to lock their moods at full, you can increase the moods but they never fall down :P
I always liked to invite the neighbors over for a party, then build a room around them and burn it down. That way I have a graveyard in my front yard and their ghosts haunt my house lol.
Sims dies, a lot, of age, if you don't feed them properly, I've seen the reaper in my game more often then the mail man... By the way, has anyone tried to bed the maid yet? Shes a horny little minx. When's episode 1 out?
That brings up a point. It might be a little harder to kill of characters in a series like this, since it seems to be a bit more human oriented and less flat out slapstick. Red versus Blue had everyone dressed up in armor, and they were always shooting, so death was really pretty obvious. Here, however, it seems like more safe environment (though it probably isn't) and people actually seem human. They'll have to be careful how they kill people off. However, if someone's going to die, I vote for Tovar. Then once he's dead he comes back as a ghost (like Church) and starts sneaking around after Catherine.
Though not quite as often, but sometimes if you're not paying attention you can order your sim to do something else while they wait for their food to cook and then forget to tell them to get it out, that's a guaranteed fire.
I sure hope they use the custom-painting trick so that the more creative members of the Strangerhood can record each death on cavas and hang the resulting masterpieces over their mantle.
