Back from Texas
I had such a GREAT time with the lovely Renee and Justin. We did some really cool and new things, like Studio movie grill (dinner at the movies? That STILL blows my mind!), went to a Rough Riders ballgame, went to a waterpark, saw Dealy Plaza, and the JFK museum (incredibly moving, and I started to cry a little, there). Finally saw for the first time, The Omen, Poltergueist, Dawn of the Dead, and a couple other movies. Lounged around in the pool, drank margaritas, played some cards, played with kitties. SO Much fun. More fun than I've had in months, probably.

Also, met up with Nick, had an incredible time with him. Met his family, his cats, his friends, and I fit right in. :) We played games, and watched movies, went out for dinner, he made me breakfast burritos. I'd never had them before. Also, I whooped his family's butt at Trivial Pursuit and now we're not allowed to play that game anymore. lol We had such a great time hanging out. I was really sad to leave. I think I'm going to live in Texas next. The Dallas area. There's so much to do there, and I really loved being there.

But right now, plans are moving ahead for my moving back to NY. My car is going to be shipped out on Monday, and I keep packing up my stuff. Which, when I think about what I want to take, there is not that much stuff.. but when I think about what I actually have to pack up, there is a lot. Blah. Why do I have so much stuff? I think I'll just bring clothes, my computer, and my cat, and be a nomad. For all those wondering, I should be back in NY by the end of August.
