20 year-old male from Fort Collins, CO I am a student studying at the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in technical theatre and theatre education. I hope to one day be able to teach in a high school or gone on and get a masters in technical theatre and be a technical director at a regional theatre. But besides being totally engrossed in theatre, I try to play video games and watch movies as much as possible | Latest Post | |

well, this sucks... so i start a new job tomorrow...well actually today...and i can't sleep. so i'm writing a journal. YAAAAAAY-ah fuck it.
so this year has been kinda crazy. its had its up and down, twists and turns. however its been all a learning experience when it comes down to it. it's hard to think that a year ago i was about to graduate from high school, i had a wonderful girlfriend, i had good friends, wonderful family, and knowledgeable teachers. i was about to start drinking-i mean eating...tasty food...yeah...but it was all in good fun. and then summer came. i worked for a theatre and made early friends in college. i scored well at nationals and made some contacts. college started and shit got fuuucked uuuup. i lost my high school sweetheart in a stupid move, most of my high school friends went their separate way, i killed some brain cells, got a job, and kicked some ass at college. a lot of my foundation was stripped away from me and i thought i was fine, until second semester. i hit some bumps in the road but i recovered nicely, if not as gracefully as i would have liked. all in all, an interesting year.
it was kinda hard to recover from my little blip in the road, but i have to say that this website has helped a lot. i'm new i know and i'm a bit of a pain at time, i know that very well, but i have to thank you guys. it's been great to have a play where if i can't be apart of, i can at least be a wallflower to. retcast has introduced me to an excellent book/comic series and some of the most hilarious people i've ever heard ramble. The CBMT has been equally as knowledgeable as hiraaarious. so i thank you guys. for everything.
i hope for more good times and hopefully more journal entries. -gimmick
