So with Achievement Hunter's new logo redesign, it seems appropriate to update the logo to match the military camo and flatter colors of the new one. Still at 1200 by 1200 it's glory kicks ass and if you want one, you have 2 options.

      1. Make your own using the PSD file below.
      2. Ask someone that does have photoshop to make one for you.

      PSD download

If you download the PSD all you have to do is put your picture in the layer that says "Add Here" and then save it. If you want one, leave a post in this forum thread with details!.

Mark this day, July 27, 2011, the day before Achievement Hunter turns 3 as the day that the new Achievement Hunter badge comes out. Still at 1200 by 1200 it's glory kicks ass and if you want one, you have 2 options.

      Achievement Hunter Avatars

      AHBadgeDemo.png

I updated my avatar a few days ago to reflect my new role at Achievement Hunter, and have since received a few requests for me to make/help make other users a similar avatar.

Instead of doing it on a case by case basis, I decided to make a dummy .PSD file (Photoshop Document for those of you uninformed) for people who have an image editor such as Photoshop or the GIMP and wanted to make one of the avatars.

I have grouped the vast majority of the layers in the document for ease of navigation and use. While you're welcome to edit and adjust any layer in the .PSD, I would suggest not touching any group other than the one labelled "Add Here," as the layers in the other groups make up the cross-hairs/badge section of the image.

To add your own personal flair to the avatar, insert whatever images, text, effects, etc into the group labelled "Add Here" (where the Achievement Hunter text layer resides). It will appear "inside" the 3D Badge midsection of the image, and will overlay the inside section of the cross-hairs part of the image. I recommend that you keep these layers away from the sections where the green cross-hair lines enter the badge, as there are overlaying layers there that will appear on top of the layers placed inside the "Add Here" group. There is a way around this, but it's a bit more work. If you feel you need to put something there, give me a shout and I'll let you know how.

The file's image size is set at 1200x1200, but I recommend that when you finally save the file as a regular image file (be it .jpeg, .gif, .png, etc) you scale it down to 600x600, as the filesize will be very large at 1200x1200.

If you want one, leave a comment on this post!

This is a link to the .PSD file, hosted on my personal website.

PLEASE NOTE: This image/logo is not an official Achievement Hunter logo and is not based off of the original Achievement Hunter .PSD file. It has been rebuilt from memory by myself and combined with a badge design I have been using for a fair deal of time. It is in no way meant to indicate that the user of the image is related to Achievement Hunter or Rooster Teeth directly, and in no way indicates that the user of the image has access to Achievement Hunter or Rooster Teeth copyrighted files/names/images. This project is meant only as a means for fans of Achievement Hunter to express their love of the Achievement Hunter website, company, and logo on the World Wide Web. I accept no responsibility if you claim that this logo means anything more than what I have stated that it does, and condemn any action made that is intended to convince individuals that the user of the image/file is directly related to or works for Achievement Hunter or Rooster Teeth. This image is just that--an image. Using it does not make you or the application of the image official in any way, and should you claim that it does I most sincerely hope that you are found out and made to stop.

PLEASE NOTE AGAIN: The file hosted above is the work of Adam Pisani, known as LBCountry on this website. He reserves no rights to the file, and wishes to ensure that it is in no way official or the true, legal, copyrighted logo of Achievement Hunter.

We're all admins if you have the avatar. If you don't we'll teach you how to make one. If you don't want one, GTFO. smiley12.gif
