Well, it's been a long time since the last news update, and I feel like it's high time for some news! I've received a few questions about a server, seen a few threads, such as this one . I personally think an RT Minecraft server would be pretty boss. If anyone wants to get one set up and can do so, I think it'd be a pretty cool idea. PM me with any details about it

Not only do they do great roleplaying videos for minecraft, but also show off some quite impressive mods, one of which is the technic pack. I downladed it myself and am quite impressed with the amount of content in the mod. If you want to take a look on what it offers, click here.
In the description there is a guide on how to install it (you will need to use MC nostalgia to revert your Minecraft back to 1.7.3) if you've never installed a mod on minecraft before. -

The Adventure Update has finally been officially released to the public. Login to update and start checking out all the new features.

1.7 Update

minecraft groupThe 1.7 update went live yesterday. I was honestly surprised at the extra stuff they added when they had only said they would be doing it for the pistons.
Here is the change list for the update:
1.7:
+ Added pistons
+ Fire or redstone is now required to trigger TNT
+ Fences can be stacked
+ Added shears
+ Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks
+ Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them
* Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched
- Removed Herobrine
I am happy that fences are now stack able, It was very tedious to do it before. Shears are pretty cool too. I have some really cool ideas I want to try with the pistons but I need sticky ones and Slime balls are kind of hard to come by. TNT requiring fire or a red-stone circuit to arm might help fight against griefers but we will see.

minecraft group1.6 Update Trailer
The 1.6 update goes live tomorrow morning according to one of Notch's twitter posts. With all the bug fixes and some of the new additions this update should prove to be an exciting one.
In other Minecraft news, Notch has also released pictures and video of Minecraft – Pocket Edition being played on the new Sony Xperia.
