Want to attend the Child's Play Charity Auction/Mixer?
Because I've been getting some questions about the specifics of each event, I've added some "fast facts" to the top of each thread. Let me know if there are any more questions!
I think that'd be great! But know that EVERYONE probably won't dress classy, and it won't be a requirement. I plan to wear slacks (or maybe nice jeans) and a nice shirt.
I edited the post and added that casual cocktail attire (cocktail dresses for ladies, slacks+nice shirt for gents) is recommended but not required. I'll be sure to include this in all other posts about this event
We're still sorting that out, but the plan right now is to have a laptop on-site with PayPal set up. We'll probably accept cash/check (simply because it means no processing fees) but I'm not 100% sure right now.
Now I need to decide if I pack a tux, kilt or just a plain old suit.
That aside are you guys looking for any more auction items and what not? and If you are what you guys after getting does it need to be like games/internet culture related?
A tux would be too fancy. Even a full suit might be. I plan on wearing slacks and a nice button down shirt. No tie. Remember that this is in July in Texas, meaning anything w/ a jacket will be absurdly unnecessary.
As for the auction items, count3d would be the person to ask about that!
Well since it benefits Childs Play, its moving to the top of my list!
I have my RTX ticket and a place to stay out there. Just still working on the airfare part of it. If I can get out there, I will do all I can to make this SQ!
