If you have been following Firefall, You might be aware that there is a stress-test event in which people in wait for a beta key are given temporary invites to play for the weekend. This weekend's event has also brought us with an unprecedented amount of beta invites. This round brings 5 invites to each player. Anyway. Since my last post, the Chosen have become slightly stronger, just as accurate, a lot more aggressive and, in general, they do feel like a threat and not just the weekend quest mobs you grind while bored out of your mind. These new Chosen Will. Kick. Your. Ass. They also capture assets now. If left unchecked, they will capture pretty much all of the playable area and deny players of resources, missions or events. This is just the beginning. There is a lot more to come, as in chosen capturing towns (not just towers or outposts) or building forward bases. |
