This is for all you people who are sick and tired of hearing every girl between 6 and 20 squeeing over this crap called High School Musical. Whatever your reason, you will be welcomed here, where we can discuss why exactly we hate it so very much. But you may be wondering, "Hey GoldElite, why should I hate it so much?" Don't worry you poor confused people, I have provided here a list of the very reasons you should, courtesy of a similar group on another social network. 41 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD HATE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 1. High School Musical is the world leader in the field of unimaginative titles for movies (even in front of Kung Fu Panda and Snakes on a Plane). 2. The idea for the whole thing is tired, and the moral (there is one?) has been shoved down our throats about a billion times by the Disney channel. 3. All the characters are blatant stereotypes that require assembly. 4. This �musical� makes kids want to live in the world of fantasy, where everything is near perfect. 5. This makes people much more distant from reality, which can be dangerous in the long run. 6. Nothing in this musical are even close to remaining within the confines of reality. Reality in this case seems to be more important. 7. All of the song titles are cliches. (e.g. We're All in This Together; Start of Something New.) 8. All of the song lyrics are cliched. 9. The music is irritating and irrational. 10. The �singers� who sing these irritating songs are also irritating, which makes everything very irritating. 11. HSM is like a 90 minute long version of an Optimum Online commercial (where there is that guys that looks like Carlos Mencia trying to rap for a minute and a half.) 12. The dancing is puppet-like. 13. The characters in HSM are so plastic, that you wouldn�t care if one of them (or all of them) gets hit by a bus or gets hepatitis B. 14. Although the film tries to reach different aspects of high school life (which it portrays 100% inaccurately) none of the characters have any real-life feelings or characteristics, so it is impossible to relate. 15. Zac Efron�s characters has the personality of a wet rag. 16. Vanessa Hudgen�s character giggles like a hyena. 17. Ashley Tisdale�s character is a crazy bitch. 18. Lucas Grabeel�s character wears too many hats and should be arrested. 19. Corbin Bleu�s character tries way to hard to be black. 20. All of the �actors� make a lot more money than you for having so specific talent or ability. 21. All of the �actors� got recording contracts, which means that more talented people will never get a chance to make it big. 22. The �actors,� can�t act. Hence the quotation marks. 23. The �actors,� can�t sing. Or dance, for that matter. 24. The actors are setting a bad example for people. Plenty of little kids will want to look like them, and they will all become bulimic. 25. The film was poorly directed. 26. The director tried to make certain things dramatic when they were not required. 27. You can�t escape from it. It is everywhere. 28. So many of the scenes from the movie are sappy and cliched. (e.g. the scene on the balcony where the two �lovers� sing a song; when the girl is signing and dancing to herself down a hallway.) 29. The plot line makes people sick to their stomach. 30. The fact that "everybody learns a lesson at the end," is annoying and stale. 31. HSM represents a dying culture, where very little originality exists, and even the stupidest of things can draw a majority to it. 32. It is now the leading waster of valuable time in the United States 33. HSM spawns clusters of HSM-lovers that act in packs and are parasites on the face of the planet, sucking life force from the existence of everybody else. 34. This will cause people to conform until we have nothing but stereotypical robots in our midst. 35. The people that made this have so much money, money that should have been given to the people who never get recognized, the ones with original ideas and talent. 36. HSM has sparked the now imminent takeover of the world by the Disney company. 37. It has led to the release of 3 other and equally terrible sequels. 38. Resistance will soon be futile. 39. It's stranglehold on people will not loosen without help. 40. It's a disgrace to humanity, adding on to #2, there is no moral. 41. Bluntly, and most importantly, HSM is just really, really, stupid.
